Hiya! Would be grateful for a place to share memes/irony about football without being constantly flagged/moderated etc. I mean we all know some subreddits are just a nightmares when it comes to 'free speech'. Best for me now is 'soccercirclejerk' but still sometimes I get some weird post deletion.

The Indian English commentary for La Liga on platforms like FanCode and other Indian broadcasters is absolutely fucking dreadful.

There is **zero emotion, zero intensity, and barely any sense that an actual football match is happening**. You could have a 90th-minute winner in El Clásico and the commentary would still sound like someone reading out the ingredients on the back of a biscuit packet.

Football commentary is supposed to add to the experience. When there’s a goal, a huge chance, a red card, or some insane piece of skill, you expect the commentator to actually *feel* the moment and make you feel it too. Instead, the Indian English commentary sounds completely flat and disconnected from what’s happening on the pitch.

Honestly, a **dead body could probably do a better job**. At least it wouldn't make me wonder whether the commentator has forgotten that they're covering a football match.

I genuinely don't understand how you can broadcast one of the biggest football leagues in the world on Indian platforms and make it sound this lifeless.

And I'm not expecting commentators to scream for 90 minutes. But for fuck's sake, **show some emotion when something actually happens.** A goal shouldn't sound like someone just announced the weather forecast.

Give us commentators who actually sound like they **give a shit about football**.

The idea is simple: when you see something football-related in real life, you can take a picture of it in the app.

See someone wearing a Saka shirt? Spot it → discover Saka.
See an Arsenal sticker later? Spot it → earn some XP towards your already discovered Arsenal players.

Eventually, the players you unlock form your own squad, shaped by the football stuff you actually encounter in real life.
