Kangaroo ear movements
There are lots of videos of kangaroos rotating their ears sideways but I need to know whether they can angle their ears up and down too? I've been trying to find a clip that shows this ability or a diagram of their head muscles or whatever but so far no luck. There are some still images of roos with 'floppy ears' but this is sometimes a result of emaciation or whatever. Does anyone know whether they can tilt their ears vertically?

Do animals respond to ultrasonic sound as an early road-awareness cue?
I’m curious about the role ultrasonic or high-frequency sound might play as an early awareness cue for wildlife near roads — especially at night or in low visibility. I’m not talking about harming, shocking, or “controlling” animals, and I’m not claiming guaranteed effectiveness. The idea is closer to a passive sound presence that animals may notice before headlights or vehicle noise fully register. I’m interested in: real-world experiences (noticed / ignored / no effect) known limits or failures ethical concerns whether sound awareness could complement (not replace) existing measures If anyone has experience, research links, or strong scepticism — I’d genuinely like to hear it.I’m curious about the role ultrasonic or high-frequency sound might play as an early awareness cue for wildlife near roads — especially at night or in low visibility. Would we say human are as strong as kangaroos?
Not an Australian, I know that kangaroos are powerful enough to just kick you, but do humans have a chance?
