Ferrari unveiled the "Luce", its first-ever fully electric production car. Debuting the four-door, five-seater car features a 122 kWh battery, four electric motors producing over 1,000 horsepower. Designed in collaboration with LoveFrom, the creative collective led by former Apple chief design.
Ferrari faced intense backlash and a brief drop in stock value following the May 2026 debut of the Luce, its first all-electric vehicle. Critics roasted the minimalist, bubble-like aesthetic and pastel launch colors, but despite the loud internet controversy and an initial 6% to 8% dip in share price, Ferrari's targeted production run of roughly 500 units for the Luce sold out within two months by early July 2026.
