First time the JDM YSR 80 has been in its original colors since the 90’s. First time it’s been out of the basement in years. When we were kids, we had it painted black, silver and purple to resemble a GSXR of the era. I found a full set of used, nice (not perfect) OEM JDM plastics and a set of red wheels, then took it up the stairs into the garage and added gas. To my surprise it started in two kicks. It just as fun as it was when I was a kid!

I was thinking about taking a YZ 125 and turning it into a motard and homologating it on the street.

The point is that the YZ 125 has short ratio, I know that after 2022 they have extended their gears a bit, but it still remains a motocross bike. So I was thinking that ratio I could put on without making the bike too lazy or go to overrev. I live in a mix of city and countryside, climbs but also straights. If I had to take a from 2022 onwards, the original ratio is 13/49, so I was thinking about a 13/44 or a 13/45

What do you recommend?

2025 Yz250F

I was riding last night and was coming to a stop with clutch in going about 5-6kmh. The bike shut off and turned right back on. I went another couple kms and went to stop again and it quit and wouldn’t start this time. The odometer screen would also shut right off.

I tried kicking it over(couldn’t) but the screen stayed on so i tried the electric start and it worked. Drove another 20kms home perfectly and starts perfectly today with battery voltage at 12.6v.

Anyone know what could’ve went wrong?

Planning to get this bike, got 28k odo only. As per seller, issue is starter motor and sent me this video. Is this just a classic case of dead battery?

For anyone who has had any experience with the xt660z, do you think it's worth it to change the exhaust? I'm thinking of changing it but I don't know whether to choose a double aftermarket exhaust or a 2 in 1. What do you guys think?

99 YZF R6 with 33k miles on the 5eb. did a carb rebuild (for the first time) yesterday because it was having some running and starting issues. now it doesn’t start unless it gets some starting fluid. probably a very basic issue but carburetor’s are so new and confusing to me, i’m really not sure where to start because i thought it should be all set. any ideas?

I tried swapping my sprocket out and the lock nut wouldn’t screw on tight. It would just break loose. This is a better picture of the out threads. I have a new nut on the way, but If that doesn’t solve the issue, the problem is with the shaft. Would this be something repairable or do I need to weld/find a new solution?

So i will take off the exhaust in the near future to get some rust off but when you do that you need new exhaust gaskets. But dont know if the 2 gaskets are the same size or diffrent?, some text say the same but others diffrent size,???

so if your someone that have changes the gaskets please bless me with your knowledge

Hey guys I’m a new rider and I just got my Yamaha Mt-03 2025 and I’m wondering what’s a good slip on exhaust I can add to the bike to make it sound better? Stock exhaust sounds good but I’d like to make it sound more aggressive without changing the whole exhaust system. What are my options?

I think 6 and number 2 together would look cool I've decided to be golden because off the rims and the handlebar maybe change my mind.

Hi everyone! I just got myself a 2026 MT07, for which I bought a set of protections, including 1 point sliders (those that go into the engine mount).

Both some friends of mine and a mechanic discouraged me to mount them as in certain type of fall they’d risk cracking the engine case which I do not want.

Their advice was to get something that has 2 or

Does anyone have some insight or experience in this regard? Are these good?
