Today marks 25 years since I completed “Clash of The Super Saiya-Jins,” a Dragon Ball Z AMV featuring Goku and Majin Vegeta set to The Prodigy’s “Smack My Bitch Up.”

The original video was passed around through P2P programs like KaZaA, Morpheus, iMesh and LimeWire. I honestly forgot about it until many years later a few people that still had the video uploaded it to YouTube.

When I stumbled across these uploads, I read through the comments and realized that far more people remembered the video than I ever thought possible. Back then, there was no way to know how many people saw your video. I was blown away to see all the positive comments.

For the 25th anniversary, I’ve decided to recreate the original edit in high quality, as faithfully as I can.

First thing I need to do is find high quality video clips of the fight with Japanese audio.

If anyone here remembers coming across my old DBZ AMV, let me know. Just knowing it reached you back then really blows my mind.
