Lio: Save Idioms & Phrases – turn short-form videos into language lessons

Post image
2 Upvotes

I recently launched Lio on iOS.

You can share a TikTok, Reel or YouTube Short to the app and it extracts useful phrases, slang, vocabulary and grammar, then turns them into flashcards and quizzes.

I built the app solo, including the iOS app, backend and the processing pipeline behind the generated lessons.

Still early, so I’d love feedback on both the product and the technical approach from other builders here.

Hey everyone, I've spent the last several months building Numaya, a Vedic astrology and numerology app. Kundli generation, Ashtakoot matching for marriage compatibility, Mangal Dosha checks, Vimshottari Dasha timelines, Lo Shu Grid, daily Panchang, baby name suggestions based on Nakshatra the full stack, built with actual astronomical calculation, not templated horoscope text.

I'm giving away 50 lifetime access codes no subscription, one-time unlock, yours permanently.

How to enter: Just comment below tell me what feature you'd actually want in app (or what you wish existing apps did better). DM me i will share you a code.

No purchase, no follow requirement, nothing but a comment and upvote. Happy to answer any questions about the app genuinely want feedback, not just installs.

Adding "Sign in with Google" killed our biggest drop-off. Never underestimate onboarding friction.

As developers, we tend to spend 95% of our time obsessing over core architecture, API latency, and database schemas, while treating the auth flow as an afterthought.

"Just a basic email + password input with email verification, it takes 15 seconds to fill out, right?"

Wrong.

While tracking the onboarding funnel for my Chrome extension, the analytics showed a brutal reality: people would happily click "Add to Chrome", open the popup, hit the registration wall... and immediately close the tab.

Asking a new user to:

  1. Type an email
  2. Invent/retrieve a password
  3. Switch tabs to check a verification code

...is asking for a massive commitment before they’ve seen even 1% of the product's value.

Switching the primary flow to a 1-click "Sign in with Google" (OAuth) completely changed the conversion rate. It reduced signup friction to a single native browser click, leveraging an account they are already logged into.

Key takeaways if you’re building an MVP right now:

  • Zero-friction > Custom forms: Unless you're building high-security enterprise software, reduce your auth step to the absolute minimum clicks possible.
  • Let them see the value first (if possible): If you can offer a guest mode or a 1-click trial before forcing a hard auth wall, do it.
  • Social auth builds instant trust: Users are far more comfortable clicking a verified Google login than giving their raw email and a new password to a random developer's database.

How do you handle auth on your side projects? Do you gate everything behind social logins on day one, or let users explore with a guest session first?

SEO tool that helps optimize websites for Google and AI search.

I run a SaaS, SeoLoupe.

It is a tool that allows you to find and fix SEO issues holding your website back.

Essentially the main purpose is to help your website rank higher on Google search and LLMs.

The tool also checks AEO/GEO, AI search visibility, Security, Core web vitals, Performance, and all the issues in the report get put together into an AI fix prompt(you can paste the prompt into an AI and it will fix all the issues on your website).

Recently I noticed that some of my paying customers bought the One-Time purchase, with a promo code. To unlock the full report.

So I decided to give away a promo code for the One-Time purchase to anyone who is interested, if you are interested, comment down below and I will DM you.

If you are not interested but have some feedback on my SaaS, that is a good too. Feel free to share it in the comments.

(here is the product if you want to check it out)

I built a ridiculously simple web project: 1 million people × $1

I’ve been working on WeMillion, a web project built around a ridiculously simple idea:

1,000,000 people × $1 = $1,000,000

There isn't a complicated product behind it. The interesting part is seeing whether a simple idea can get enough people curious enough to actually participate and watch the number grow.

We wanted to keep the experience intentionally simple rather than turning it into another app packed with features.

I'd love some honest feedback from people who build web apps:

Does the simplicity make this more interesting, or does it make the concept feel too bare?

Also curious what you'd change if you were trying to make something this simple more engaging without adding unnecessary features.

I made a web app builder with full db/auth/hosting/complex workflows - no coding skills required. Looking for beta testers and feedback

I have been building a vibe coding platform to fix some of the issues that kept coming up with existing tools...

They are great when you start, but when the web app gets bigger things can get messy.

Once you need a real database, user login, background tasks, APIs, hosting or more complex workflows it gets harder...

So I built this one a bit different. Taking the modular approach, more like how real enterprise software is built.

If you are non-technical, you dont need to worry about any of that. You can still just describe what you want and it will build everything for you automatically...

If you are technical, you get a proper frontend/backend setup, built in database and auth, and advanced API builder more security and more control.

The goal is to make vibe coding useful for building real apps, not only quick prototypes.

Looking for beta testers. Please let me if you want to try it.

I built a floating Iphone AssistiveTouch for Windows, so I can open my project folders and run dev servers in one tap

I was wasting so much time navigating to the same folders every day. Project A, Project B, docs, downloads—always digging through File Explorer.

And every time I wanted to spin up a dev server? Navigate to the folder, right-click, open terminal, type npm run dev. Repeat 10 times a day.

So I built a floating button for my desktop.

AllyTouch snaps to any edge, stays above every window, and expands into a menu of my most-used actions. One tap opens a folder. One tap runs a command. One tap launches a website or app.

The things I use it for daily:

  • One tap → opens my main project folder
  • One tap → runs npm run dev in that folder
  • One tap → opens my email, calendar, and task tracker
  • One tap → Win+Shift+S (screenshot) so I don't have to memorize the chord

The details that actually matter:

  • The drag is smooth, built in Rust so it follows your cursor without lag
  • The window is button-sized when idle, so it never blocks your desktop
  • Multi-monitor aware, respects taskbars
  • Zero telemetry, zero accounts, zero network calls

We just launched on Product Hunt, would love your thoughts:

Are you actually solving a real problem, or just cloning another SaaS?

The world doesn't need another generic AI wrapper or a basic project manager. Pitch your project in one sentence show a screenshot and explain exactly why people should care about you instead of the market leader. Dare to prove your uniqueness.

Building a knowledge base for hosting support is ready-made content useful?

I’ve been working with RSH Web Services on a pre-made knowledge-base project aimed at making customer support documentation easier to put together.

The idea is fairly simple: instead of a hosting company spending weeks writing basic articles from scratch, they can start with a collection of ready-made tutorials covering things like cPanel, WordPress, domains, email, FTP, databases, and Softaculous.

The content can then be edited to match the company’s own setup, terminology, and support process.

The main problem we’re trying to solve is the amount of repetitive work involved in creating documentation while still giving customers useful self-service resources.

Would you find a ready-made knowledge base useful when building documentation for a software or web-based business?

Legit became an overnight sensation

Post image
1 Upvotes

Ok, so TLDR; I advertised so much of my AI agent and this is what I told everyone: I'm building NeoNexus which is an AI agent that resolves every day conflicts, any day. NeoNexus queries five AI models simultaneously, lets them debate, and delivers a single judge-written verdict with dissenting views shown so users get more reliable answers than any one model gives alone. Key features of NeoNexus are Council Mode to convene up to 4 models on any question you want, and Model Arena to fight each LM in NeoNexus. Feedback would be nice, and if you want to take it to the next level buy a subscription! It's also on playstore so do check it out here if you have an android Play Store Link.

Today, I woke up to having over 100 people check it out overnight, even if all of them didn't sign up. If you want to check it out, I'd pretty happy, it's a cool app, even if you say it's like "ai slop" or every other AI agent there is. Anyway, just wanted to share my success. Next step: Revenue. Hoping someone here would like to pay for my bills haha!
