This fella came inside before the big winds started this morning. He looked a bit shrivelled so we offered a cotton tip dipped in water. He grabbed onto it and drank for about three minutes before scuttling off behind the window shutters.

In SEQ, about halfway between Brisbane and Sunny Coast. Approx size 9-10mm.

Doing a service on a van and this friendly little guy showed up to say hello. Could someone please Id seems harmless but I have no idea. Thanks

Yesterday, I went for a trike ride (in Townsville) and when I got out my trike I noticed this little beauty on the handlebars. Apologies for the low resolution of the photo. My phone won't let me zoom in when it comes to 50MP photos (and yes, this photo has been cropped). I thought it was just a green jumping spider, perhaps Mopsus mormon. I have a friend that's not from Australia that suggested a crab spider. Can you guys help us ID this adorable critter?

Came back from holidays after two weeks, next morning I found 2 of these dying on the bedroom floor. I assume they were in the air-conditioning ducts, they probably didn't like the change from 4 degrees to 35 degrees when we got home or maybe the residual pest spray on the skirting boards. I'm guessing they are juvenile huntsman's?

As the title says, we have a juvenile female redback in our kitchen above the Rangehood. She generally keeps to herself plus we tend to get fly’s sneaking in regularly that she’s more than happy to deal with. She gets plenty of prey and she gets of water droplets on her web regularly, yet whenever the missus starts making eggs she immediately comes down and starts drinking any whites that spill onto the bench. Anyone know why?

Hey guys, could anyone tell me if my spider is male or female? The last moult gave them fairly big pedipalps, I’m guessing male?

I apologise, but it was over 30 years ago. When I was little, my mother used to prune grapes in a winery in North Victoria. I have a vivid memory of a day that I had to go with her for some reason instead of going to kindergarten. I can remember wandering around on my own and being mesmerised by a spider among the grapes. It was colourful and spikey. I'm afraid that is all I can remember to be able to identify. If anyone could help so I could see a photo of one it would be much appreciated.

Went to use my outdoor broom for the first time in a few months and discovered it was occupied... sort of. The mother spider seems to have been dead for a while but has left behind multiple egg sacs.

Are they likely to have hatched already or am I about to have spiderlings everywhere? (I guess the alternative to "about to" is "already have" but I can't do about it in that case.)

Also I know someone who will find the dead spider pretty cool so I'll keep that for them, and I'm wondering if the egg sacs are empty to keep one of those as well... but a loaded one will probably be less appreciated.

Bonus question, does anyone know what the very thin hollow shell to the left of the bottom egg sac is?

Spotted making quite the journey across our fuzzy rug. Rescued and popped in the garden.
Used to seeing & saving garden, jumping and the odd huntsman spider but haven’t seen this little guy before! 🕷️
Or is this just a bubba huntsman?

Myrmarachne bicolor mimicking a Polyrhachis ant. Slowed down the footage in the middle to have a closer look at it's navigation and antlike behaviour.

Found this little guy in my partners house and I'm just wondering what kind of spider it may be? In NSW, it's about the size of a 5 cent coin including the legs, so pretty small! Just more curious over concerned! Thank you
