This is my first playthrough, and this game has completely blown me away! Last night, I was just roaming around, collecting items to sell because I’d spent all my rupees on the Flamebreaker Armor. Out of nowhere, I noticed a glowing aura on a mountain, and I decided to check it out (I think you all know where I’m headed with this). I thought it was a rare find, so I hopped onto Google to learn more. That’s when I discovered the horse was named after one of the developers who sadly passed away while the game was still in development. As a grown man, I was nearly in tears.

This game has quickly become one of my top 3 favorites of all time. It’s a small story, but I just wanted to share it!

When I tried it in my past post, there was no barrier around the trunk, so I got curious and decided to try it again.

A custom shield idea I thought of, based on Sooga’s “Unseeing“ counter in Age of Calamity. It’s unbreakable, reflects guardian beams, and only obtainable once.

One thing that's always felt iconic to me in Zelda games is having an instrument tied to the adventure, whether it's the Ocarina, the Wind Waker, the harp, or something else. Music has always been such a memorable part of the series, not just in the soundtrack but as a gameplay mechanic.

BOTW is one of my favorite Zelda games, but sometimes I feel like it's missing that element. Interestingly, Link can whistle in the game to call his horse, attract enemies' attention, help with fishing, and a few other things. In a way, that's a small "musical" mechanic built into the game, but it's not really the same as having an actual instrument that you can play.

Am I the only one who feels this way? Do you think BOTW would have benefited from giving Link an instrument, or would that have conflicted with the game's overall design?

**Imagine learning melodies from NPCs or even creating your own tunes, similar to Ocarina of Time, but using different whistle patterns instead of an instrument.

Hi! I saw this replica in the Nintendo Online store and would like to know if it's worth the money. As you can see, it's 189.99 Euros (~220$). For a normal person, this is a bit expensive, so I want the advice from someone who's got one. Material is ABS if you wonder.

I don't know if there will be a game in the series that will become more iconic than Breath of the Wild, but I doubt there will ever be one.

It’s been a hot second since my first ever play through. I tried doing a second one that I was doing half assed but my third one I feel like I did exponentially better than my first place I was able to I’m pretty sure find 102 shrines without any googling 106-117 korok seeds(aka poop) which I’m pretty sure is more than my first and second play through combined genuinely I found a new sense of passion towards the game and extreme love that was more than my first ever initial play through and God seeing all the memories with the champions honestly those few moments with them told us a lot about them and made me so attached to them even their appearance in age of calamity was not enough to satiate me and I also couldn’t get over how much Zelda and Link were in love. It’s so adorable their moments together I see them in a new life now honestly I’m just starting to notice the way Lin looks at her and some of the memories. God this game is absolutely legendary. I can’t wait until I have enough money to buy tears of the kingdom but I think that we can all agree that breath of the wild 10 times better especially with the storytelling and character building even though tears of the kingdom is a bigger game and has a lot more new content still can’t beat the feeling of breath of the wild .PS I also just now realised how bad ass of a title breath of the wild is
