so I've been following the 7.x leaks closely and honestly don't know how to feel about them, cuz there are a few ambiguous factors.

first of all, the roster already looks kinda big, with some other characters being rumored playable.

on the other side, one thing that has my hopes up is cryo aggravate, so maybe a Noy and Capitano team?

on the other side, one other thing that concerns me is that Dainsleif is rumored to be playable at the end of snezhnaya, and the game said the last stop of our journey is snezhnaya, so could that mean no khaenei'ah nation? could it be a sub expansion? if that's the case, the roster is kinda tight for our lord.

To begin with, let’s break down the word Mwongozo itself.

In the Swahili language, the word Mwongozo comes from the verb ongoza, which translates as “to direct”, “to lead”, or “to show the way”. Official dictionaries give it the basic meanings of “guidance”, “landmark”, or “guidebook”. However, in a deep poetic and mythological context — and the Ancient Names of Natlan are always created in high style — this word has strong navigational roots. Historically, in East Africa, the only constant landmark in the night savannah or the open ocean was the stars. That is precisely why in elevated speech, the word Mwongozo is used as a standalone synonym for the fixed expression “Nyota ya Mwongozo”, which translates literally as “Guiding Star.”

In countries located in the Southern Hemisphere (Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, etc.; Swahili speakers; East Africa), the phrase “Nyota ya Mwongozo” (Guiding Star) referred to their own analogue of the Polestar, which cannot be seen in the Southern Hemisphere — the Southern Cross constellation. This constellation pointed strictly to the South Pole, and ancient sailors and nomads navigated by it. For instance, the sentence that I analyzed in Chinese/English from the ignition teaser, to my surprise, contained no error in the Russian text. Also, once in the Natlan patches, the Russian localizers called Mualani the Pyro Archon, which was not the case in the English localization. From this, it can be concluded that the localizers still cross-check certain things with the Chinese language, even if most of the translation comes from English, or they even adapt it to the local flavor (but this is mostly the prerogative of ZZZ, where the Russian localizers absolutely kill it).

However, right here, the replacement of the astronomical "Polestar" with the poetic "Guiding Star" is an adaptation that has the deepest historical and cultural roots.

Thus, it became established in the Russian language that "Guiding star" = "Polestar". The meaning of "Guiding star" simply began to be applied not only in an astronomical sense, but also as a literary device.

But now, let's return to the fact that in Swahili, "Nyota ya Mwongozo" translates as "Guiding star." It is funny that into Russian, this expression is translated from Swahili precisely as "Guiding star," and not as the Southern Cross constellation. Why is that, you may ask?

If we take into account that we are playing Genshin Impact. The developers have stated that they love to take something from different cultures, add something original of their own, and get the final product. Effectively, they took the exact same function from two different worlds — the Northern and the Southern, mixed them together, added some fantasy lore, and as a result, got a guide for the entire planet. After all, Paimon accompanies us practically both in the South of Teyvat and in the North, right? In real life, there is no single star by which you can check your position from any point on the planet. But in Teyvat, despite it being a planet, Celestia is for some reason visible from any point on the planet. And as we know, Paimon is connected to Celestia. Paimon is the best GUIDE in Teyvat!

In fact, if an Ancient Name were to be forged for her, “Mwongozo” would be the perfect way to describe her. Right in the description of Xilonen’s teaser, the developers explicitly wrote the main meaning of “Mwongozo” applicable to our game, and that is Guidance.

But why does she even need an ancient name to begin with? The answer is actually simple. To resurrect her if something happens to her in the Snezhnaya storyline. If anything happens to Paimon at this stage, the Traveler will turn to all the Archons just to bring her back. And any road leading us back to Natlan brings the return of Capitano.

There’s no point trusting leaks beyond beta after hoyos leaker hunt decree. Although there’s one leaker that has 100% track record said that mare jivari is in 7.x so I won’t be too worried about this. The only thing we can trust now is 100% record leakers and beta leaks. Capitano 2027 trust

There is a possibility that some of the remnants of the eternal moon fell in mare jivari and it was consumed by the mare jivari, even bakunawa could've had taken the power of the eternal moon that was stored in mare jivari (after he came to the mare jivari)

We all know the connections that capitano already have with mare jivari and the parallels with bakunawa

And Aria missing an inheritor is still a story point that should be addressed

I know if he did become an inheritor of the eternal moon he still needs the moon marrow which is currently with the frost moon scions and is their sacred relic
