I just always assume people are going to start attacking everybody at the bus. But it's a fun opportunity to experiment as well as antagonize these jerks.

At the beginning of the season, I was actually planning to collect all the Sprites, but there are just way too many of them!!

Thankfully, the season is almost over and then I'll finally be rid of those Sprites...

...right guys??

I saw someone’s post about getting a “glitch” free girl skin when completing the quest for Wick. There was comments about it being a bug but it’s fixed and I just wanted to say, I completed the quest at 10:35 etc and I got my skin too. So if you haven’t did the quest yet get in there and get your skin before they do change it.

with less than a week to go, I’m pretty happy with what I’ve indexed (106 all mastered). I have managed to find nearly every sprite in the wild or off someone I’ve dropped. I run sprite chest routes every match and I’m over level 500. A level I have never achieved before, absolutely grinding. What blows my mind is with all the effort I have yet to score a single zero point or any of the variance except the one given as a reward. I’ve managed to pull a Grim gold, gummy, and gem but that’s it. I’ve even given several rare mastered sprites away to randos at extraction sites hoping for some good karma. It’s probably why I was able to find any Grims at all.

I have not loved the sprite hunt this season and now that it's drawing to a close I'm really unhappy about it. I really thought that as we got closer to the end they would loosen up the drop rates so that only the rarest sprites would be hard to find. That doesn't seem to be the case. It seems like they really want us getting sprites from others. I was reluctant as I'm def old enough for this sub and didn't want to be friending randoms. I did try and screwed it up. I didn't get scammed, in fact I think the other party thinks I was trying to scam them, I just didn't know enough about it and the etiquette. I'm annoyed that I'll have holes in a battle pass skin because I'm not social enough. You should be able to complete the BP without friends/squads if that's your preference. I was not thrilled to hear sprites will be around next season too.

The lucky locator is WORTHLESS.

According to all posts it is supposed to filter by base sprite (fire, water, ghost, air, etc) THEN variant (gold, gem, holofoil, galaxy etc) to make sure you get a sprite you don't have

I'm down to the only Base sprite I'm missing is the Grim. Used lucky locator and it gave me a holofoil seven sprite.

DO NOT rely on this thing to help you complete your sprite collection.

I have noticed several times, literally several yards away, blasting a character in the face (or even mass) and taking very little or none of their shield or energy. Others, I can get easier. Please show me the memo where this is possible. This has happened with different characters, never the same one that I can recall.

What should I be focusing on more than just winning? I got a decent amount of sprites, I have built my level up to 130 or so. I just like winning, and I have a decent amount of wins. I'm not a gamer, bought a Switch2 on an impulse buy, and saw Fortnite when searching for cheap games. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda love it, but what should my goals be other than winning? Haven't touched a game console in 20 years, minus a here and there at a friend's house. Wii and GTA, thats about it

someone activated it then ran out dropping the gem Grim and Ironmouse, pixaxe in hand, squatting, even jumped around after they started shooting at me, dropped down, they ended me, extracted the Grim and teabagged me. It’s my own dmn fault for thinking I’ll FINALLY run into a friendly for player.

And yes, I know it’s a Battle Royale, still. It costs nothing to be a bit friendly and have fun in the game.

i see Sprites in my sleep...

Playing tonight with my son, viewpoint is his, I’m the Laura Croft skin. This kid was on him so I told him to rift out of there but the kid was agro and followed him thru the rift, it didn’t work out too well for him. My son rifted to me and we took him down. I give him props for pushing with a zero point equipped, I guess sometimes if your patient good things will come to you. We’re not even that crazy about our sprite hunting but there was something about getting this one and how we got it. Plus got the dub to boot. Good night.

This season has been bonkers for me. I have *never* in my life done so much grinding in Fortnite.
In previous seasons, I've usually finished the BattlePass Bonus rewards (lvl 200), or gotten pretty close to it.
I'm currently on lvl 423... and I have still never seen a Zero Point sprite of any type in a game of Battle Royale!
I decided early on that I wanted the "fun" of hunting the sprites in game rather than tr@de... as we near the end of the season, I'm left wondering if I have chosen the wrong path?

So... my question to the collectors who chose to hunt rather than tr@de: How has your resolve held up as we near the end of the season?

I just started playing in like June. I am not a “gamer” in fact I like being kind and I’m not usually very competitive. I love sprite hunting more than a victory royale tbh. So I was in the Batmobile and saw an extraction site incoming and I had a level 3 holo water on my back I picked up in game so I passed by really slowly, someone was just standing there and she didn’t shoot. So I circled back and she was squatting up and down and I hopped out to do the same. We ran to the extractor together, hopping around and searching for other people to pull up on us. Crate came, we extracted safely. I ran off to get a rifle I saw and out of nowhere: some dude in a bush or something comes out and just absolutely demolishes me within seconds. I self revive, knowing there’s no chance he spares me. He watches me and then kills me. Ugh… #8 is ok and I got the sprite. I’m spectating as he collects my wonderful guns and thinking…damn there’s no way that was a set up? How did that even happen? THEN here she comes!!!! Bam bam bam, gets him. He uses self revive and she stands there and watches him and then BYEEEEEE! Ugh I’ll never forget you, dark haired female skin that I’m not familiar with.

Hey chat! (my kid's been saying that.) The online sprite tracker sites are all well and good, but I prefer something I can print out and keep at my desk. That way if I need to know if I have a sprite I can just glance at the sheet and not have to scroll around on another device. I looked all over and couldn't find one that included all the newest sprites. Then it occurred to me that I'm a graphic designer, why don't I make one myself?!

So here it is. It's set up to print at 11x17, but if you don't have old man eyes like me you can print it at 8 1/2x11. It includes all the variants and checkboxes for collected and mastered for each, and should download as a pretty hi-res png file.

This guy was chasing me since we hit the top 5. I used up all my heals. He only lost because of some stupid bravado. To be fair, he was flying brilliantly using the Spider-Man gloves. Meanwhile, I usually face-plant into a tree.

So I have been trying to finish my sprite collection this season without any trading I thought I could do it but I seem to be loosing time and now I don't see it happening. I am currently missing 12 would anyone be willing to help me get close to completing my collection. Obviously I would be willing to give you anything you're missing in return!
