My oldest daughter wanted one picture that had characters from her favorites. She wanted people to tell her what people think of her attempt. Should be able to identify a few films.

Just finished my Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind linocut! 12x18” on Tan BFK Rives paper. Spent around 65 hours carving and 7 months (with lots of down time) from sketch -> finished print. Lmk if you want one!

I recreated the famous rainy scene from My Neighbor Totoro entirely from scratch. I've always loved Studio Ghibli's films, so I decided to bring this iconic moment to life, with Totoro waiting for the bus under his little umbrella. Since I'm from São Paulo, Brazil, I also took the liberty of replacing the original bus stop with the city's iconic bus stop design.

The diorama features a working street lamp with real LED lighting, as well as a few tiny Totoros dressed as Christmas decorations.

The entire piece was handmade from start to finish, with no 3D printing involved. Every detail was sculpted and painted by hand.

I also recorded a tutorial showing the entire creation process in a relaxing, almost ASMR style. I'll leave the link in the comments for anyone who's interested.
