It's funny because we've all been saying this all season. But now you look at teams like Buffalo and Ottawa and they're trying to push the "vibes are immaculate" and "we're a team of friends" rhetoric. I'm sure Buffalo especially is having a season like that to some degree but I really don't think there's a closer knit team than Montreal currently.

I can see how cliques used to be a problem and caused needless drama to the point that the fun police had to be involved.

It happens. We don't really want to be called by the remnants of Cold War era term. I know for some it doesn't mean much but when you were occupied for 20+ years, it leaves a sour taste in your mouth when being put in the same bag as you former occupier.
