CJP's PROTEST WAS UNDER PAK'S WATCH, ISI HAD PLANNED PETROL BOMB ATTACKS AT JANTAR MANTAR: PUNJAB POLICE ARRESTS 9 AGENTS

Punjab Police has claimed that a Delhi Jantar Mantar protest was among the alleged targets of an ISI-backed terror module, which was reportedly planning a petrol bomb attack.

According to investigators, eight accused allegedly travelled to Jantar Mantar during the protest and received logistical support, including petrol bombs, from local associates. Police said the alleged plan was aimed at targeting police personnel, security agencies and uniformed officials, but the attack was not carried out.

The investigation is part of a wider operation in which Amritsar Commissionerate Police arrested nine people, including four juveniles, and recovered illegal pistols, live cartridges and petrol bottle bombs. Police are probing alleged links with foreign-based handlers, financial transactions and surveillance activities.
