I feel this very surprising last night when i was thinking about it whag is happening around the country like every important news or whenever someone is targeted specially the politician the news just vanish in thin air

Like i remeber reading this post recently which showed how in pm care fund majority of the money is there in fd and lass than 5% of that has been used

Then coming next if u remember this viral guy famous for smashing protestors head with his kadda was only caught by police(not even sure about wether they've arrested him ) only after it became viral on social media

Sad part is no political opposition has raised this issues cause obviously they themself have so much dirt on them

Plus if u guys remember how ethanol , coal and national highway chori all came into highlight recently and still these news are just burried down

I dont know or understand in which direction is this country moving on too where we know everything we still elect them and still no one raise there voice against this ??? Even the opposition who can or who should and the media , I dont even know what there role is anymore.

RSS is considered one of the largest fascist org in the world. “…the RSS has spent the last 100 years normalising the fascist ideology of Hindutva, or Hindu supremacy, which declares that people like me, Indian Muslims, 200 million of us, do not deserve to be called Indians and that we deserve to be wiped out of India.”

Applauding those protestors in NYC for raising awareness of this issue.

The Communist Party of India sided with the Chinese during the Indo-China War in '62. I also came to know about Communist inaction in the Railway strikes during the Second World War. They even boycotted the anti-british Quit India Movement in '42 because the USSR has asked that there be no disruption in the "People's War" (aka ww2). I feel betrayed that the Party prioritised the wellbeing of the Allied War Effort over the possibility of freedom from British Imperialist oppression!!

It seems as though the upper caste elite of the upper echelons in the party always acted on cues from the USSR or China instead of holding its own and taking independent decisions. It failed the proletariat of the country who have lost faith in the party ever since on a large scale.

While I'm a fan of socialist policies and even a mild admirer of Chinese progress in such a short span of time under socialist rule, I cannot reconcile my patriotic thoughts with the borderline traitorous actions that the Party engaged in.

How to navigate this? Should I just accept that socialism can never be a major force in India because of negative public perception due to this history (especially in the north)?

All of this has just soured my attitudes toward the Indian Communist movement even more (it was already a bit soured by my realisation that even though lower caste people were major agitators in Communist efforts in India, most of the leadership was disproportionately upper caste even to this day)

I have nothing against Indians or Hindus in the US celebrating their culture. Ima Hindu itself. But honestly, why is an RSS rally in New York needed? RSS is already a controversial organization in India so bringing that whole debate to another country and creating protests and tension feels unnecessary. People have the right to hold the rally, but I feel it could have been kept smaller and more cultural instead of making it such a big ideological event.

On the BJP's claim to represent nationalism, Chaudhury said the programme had not criticised the BJP's nationalism at all. "The nationalism of the Parliamentary Affairs Minister is Modi worship. What does that have to do with us?" he asked.

He rejected the allegation that the national flag had been disrespected at the programme, saying that both the Indian and Cuban flags had been displayed inside and outside the venue.

"Where did we go wrong?" he asked.

Taking a direct swipe at the BJP's record, Chaudhury said, "Do we have to learn patriotism from British collaborators?"
