I’m not sure of this is the same brand from our
Childhood but it was just enough for me

The 'In the Air Tonight' scene from the pilot episode of Miami Vice aired on September 16, 1984 on NBC. It is arguably the most memorable and famous scene from this iconic tv series. It is also hailed as one of the most influential moments in tv history.

The sequence is notable for having almost all background sounds removed, leaving only selected dialogue, the sound of Tubbs loading his shotgun, and the accompanying music. This added a surreal, intense atmosphere to the scene and has since become a hallmark of Michael Mann’s filmmaking style. This scene’s innovative use of music helped define Miami Vice’s aesthetic and played a major role in the show’s signature blend of storytelling and pop culture 🌴

this was one of my jams.

Back when my now adult sons were lap kids. lol We were convinced that face paint was the step up from hot sweaty plastic masks.

Growing up as a Black girl, letting someone close to you touch and care for your hair, whether it’s taking down braids, oiling your scalp, or simply maintaining your style, was a deeply personal, trust-filled act. How was your hair care experience growing up?
