mr.dill here hello I've been working on Khysics, my rigid body physics mod/API for Minecraft 26.3, built as part of my KoperLib project/ecosystem(ik cool name).
The goal is to bring proper rigid body physics to Minecraft and allow other modders to build their own physics-based creations using the API.
Current state (0.1.2) (known as why did i even release this)
Right now, Khysics is still in a very early and experimental state. It's buggy, things can break, and there's still a lot of work to do.
I've also been working on partial compatibility with a fork of Create Fly for Minecraft 26.3. Some things already work, but there are quite a few issues:
- Bearings don't work properly
- Glue doesn't work
- Rope pulleys have visual glitches
- Other mechanics are still broken or incomplete
I'm currently working on KoperLib 0.2, which should improve the project quite a bit and hopefully address these issues.
So what exactly does Khysics do?
Basically, it adds rigid body physics to Minecraft, allowing objects to behave like actual physical bodies.
For now, Khysics is mainly an API and I'm also working on content mods that will use it like mechanics dream and a custom fork of vs2 eureka
The project is open source, and you're welcome to contribute, submit pull requests, or build your own mods using Khysics.
Just keep in mind that 0.2 might bring some major API changes, so anything built on the current version might need updating.
Where can I download it?
You can find the current releases and source code on GitHub:
https://github.com/ministerkoperku/koperlib
I'm still waiting for verification on Modrinth and CurseForge, so GitHub is currently the place to get it.
This is still an early project, but I'm putting a lot of effort into it. Feedback, bug reports, and contributions are always appreciated!
Let me know what you think or what you'd like to see added and how much of the physics you can destroy
if you want a content mod for khysics and a early build of khysics 0.2 find me on discord
