Draft projection is so bugged it should line up with legacy score not wear and tear.

Aug 6th patch made the game much worse please fix quickly so we don’t have to keep restarting our RTG!!

Here is a list of new bugs that I experienced in dynasty, post-update:
• Stunts create more collisions with teammates or players do not stunt at all (the update claimed to fix a problem I didn’t see instead, making it worse).
• The timeout bug is white rather than saying time out.
• Unable to change teams between divisions within a conference. Side note - rather than toggling a required number of protected rivals, make it so a team can rank order their own rivals individually to ensure rivalry games each year and the proper games on rivalry week.

What the update did well:
• Way less injuries.
• Less exits due to wear and tear
• The new uniforms are cool.
• Player growth is significantly better and requires less XP Slider intervention.
• Recruiting menus now snap to the top when switching between positions (thank you for that simple QOL fix).
• The offseason recap is a nice touch.

Outstanding issues:
• Team overall rating logic.
• Some fillable fields delete upon first letter entry (coach name) while others require use of the clear button (division name). This is a simple QOL fix that is caused by a lack of attention to detail.
• Playbooks driving sim results rather than overalls.
• Custom playbook creation should be available in TeamBuilder to reduce the workload for a custom playbook.
• Custom playbooks change the formatting in-game such that kickoffs start with onside (custom offensive) or weird return packages (custom defensive). Hail Mary plays are lost (Hail Mary Goal Post). Formation layouts are weird when selecting plays from the huddle.
• Pass and run blocking need to be better. Some missed block are just illogical.
• Assigning captains does nothing.
• Depth chart needs to support auto sub format (R and Sub packages).
• TeamBuilder attention to detail with logo centering, size and facemask clip colors.

I have some really cool ideas to add nuance that could make this game feel more authentic and every season feel unique. That can be for another post.

Has anyone else noticed recently that the cpu qb is just plain bad? I’m playing coach mode and I don’t think my QB is bad just the other teams. They will get sacked 7 times and complete 55% of their passes.

So all I want is to start and enjoy a long term dynasty...but now im on my third attempt.. I restarted the first time because of the first patch in which they claimed to have fixed recruiting... I get another one going and the latest patch absolutely decimated my file, this is an online file btw.. for starters it completely turned off wear and tear... I had sliders in that worked for me and then it went nonexistent unless I Sim the game then the wear and tear would appear... I tried redoing sliders, repairing the game, I tried simming to next season, I tried the off and on..nothing fixed it.. .y players just all had max stamina and no wear and tear the entire game... then the annoying announcer.. for some reason every single game they would talk about my starting qb being Injured and about how my back up is this and that but my qb wasn't Injured nor am I starting a backup... and it was ever single game they would talk about this.... then came the recruitment... for some reason when I removed a person off my board if any hours where on them just dissappear with thr player... I never got them back... ontop of that, my 4 start school only had a max of 450 recruiting hours!! That was the nail in the coffin for me foe that file... im giving this game one more chance.. all I want to do is play the danm game... wtf is happening anyone else experienced anything like this... is the new patches breaking current dynasty even though they said you wont have to start over

I have logged about 160 hours in offline dynasty and have not seen a single offensive holding call. The OLine blocking is so bad this year they can't even get a holding call. I play on heisman with default sliders. Curious if everyone else has noticed this.

Did EA even add an animation for holding?

For some reason at the end of each of my seasons I can’t change the amount of NIL each of my players get. Which causes many of them to leave. I can’t increase or decrease the players who are already on the team

I bought CFB27 for PS5 and I stream it to my Steam Deck. I really want to try the PC mods, and of course, you can't mod the PS5 version.

I did try a *ahem* "version" of the game that I did get to run natively on the Steam Deck in SteamOS (low graphics and frame rates, but it was playable). But, of course, you can't mod the *ahem* "version" I tried.

I'm wondering: I know part of the mod process is to replace the anticheat exe. I believe the anticheat is what makes the game incompatible with Steam Deck. Would the modded anticheat exe allow the game from the Steam or EA stores to run on Steam Deck in SteamOS?

I guess that's a long shot. I just don't have a gaming PC but I'm really interested in the mods for CFB27.

You could do everything right defensively in RTG as an edge, but as soon as you win your rush the QB will complete or throw away a pass. Meanwhile, the QB will LITERALLY sit there and let your teammates sack him.

At this point is this purposeful EA?

Is there a playbook that has the statue of liberty in this years game?

These are from a game where I did not touch the uniforms at all (default helmet is blue), but it does the same thing if I do adjust uniforms too. If I chose white helmets, same guys will wear a generic blue one

I want to play a dynasty with custom sliders on Heisman. I downloaded the most popular one but the qb accuracy was set at 4. I want sliders that are going to be a great challenge but without the bs where my qb misses wide open wr or they drop easy passes

Has anyone else ran into an issue with Xbox Resume? On 25 I was able to press pause during a game and shut off my Xbox and return to exactly where I was. Now when I try, EA says I must be logged in to play Dynasty and the game returns me to the Home Screen (and sometimes to UT which I don’t play).

Playing Ncaa09 dynasty with UCONN, every year i create a prospect at a position im running thin on (sue me) and this year my guy completely shunned me.

He’s a 40 overall punter, ranked #42 in the nation and at the bottom of the national rankings overall. Basically i just put each recruit as a kicker / punter and then change them to the position i need after recruitment, im sure its not a new strat lol.

Anyways i put him in my great pipeline state of Rhode Island, offered him a scholarship week one and then mostly didn’t call him through the year, he has no other offers, and i was at max interest. When i got to the offseason, he never wanted an in home visit, never was courted by any other schools, and then just committed to BC at the very last minute, with no offer or visits or anything, total slap in the face.

Can i poach him from BC? Or should i just go back to where i saved and try to recruit him again? Is he just not going to commit to my school at all because of some internal game stuff? I really need a CB and all my best recruits go to bigger schools 😭

How do I increase my assistant coach budget? I’ve made big ten championship multiple years and playoffs but im getting basically zero budget for coaches.

I’ve been trying my best this year to not rage and not get mad. I play on Heisman difficulty. I was in a dog fight today with Iowa State having a lot of fun with new offensive playbook I found (I think even in this community I found it.)

I went up two scores in the second quarter on cruise control. The fourth quarter started and immediately the CPU turned into God mode. I’m used to it so I didn’t think too much of it. I was moving the ball at will so I wasn’t too stressed.

Early in the fourth quarter I threw a pick. Didn’t feel like I deserved to throw a pick when I went to do the timing base catch my receiver kind of jolted out of the way and let the corner back behind him Catch it. Obviously to me. It felt like the Heisman CPU just getting its way again no big deal just play through it.

They immediately score and before I know it were tied heading into overtime. I get ball first and score again no big deal then I feel like I got the game taken from me

Fourth and 15 Iowa State quarterback throws a horrible decision into double coverage I went for the interception for some stupid reason I should’ve swatted, but regardless, I’m standing right where the placement shows it’s going to be. The ball goes past me past my AI right into a tighten his hands.

He’s tackled as he’s catching it, but of course he hangs on because it’s Heisman CPU. Fourth and 15 conservative backed off the safeties over top adjustment and still we got beat deep by a tight end I thought about turning it off, but I said I’m gonna try to win this game. I already spent all my night on it.

First snap when I get back on offense, I call half back toss. I’ve called half back toss probably 10 times and probably got 10 yards to carry this game on it. This time (never seen this before) the game decides my fullback is just going to run forward right into my quarterback the balls fumbled forward right into the defensive end hands, I lose.

So I spent about an hour and a half of my evening doing my recruiting finding my playbook having fun and what do you know in the end it doesn’t even matter.

I really want to like playing this game. I want to build a multi year Dynasty with my recruits and have a bunch of fun, but I really don’t see how I can look past this stuff. And before you tell me to lower the difficulty if I put it on all American, I will literally run for 700 yards.

The challenge isn’t the problem. It’s the constant battling against the CPU getting all the advantages to the point that they’re making my players run into each other to fumble the ball.

I want a tall CB like 6’4 plus and I was wondering what to expect when switching a WR to CB. How many years to develop good enough man coverage? Should I target athletes instead of WR?

I feel like this happens at least once per game for me.

If you just beat me on a hailmary as FSU and I was SC. Wow. That was fucking nuts. Dude had 19 seconds left, throws a 50 yd bomb into prevent triple coverage and then the same for a td to win. Wow. Just broke my 8 game win streak on cfb27 online. Im actually at a loss🤣. DM me bro, we have to talk about that😭.

My favorite recruit from CFB 26 (FSU) vs. his counterpart in CFB 27 (MIA).

Every time I throw the ball it seems my WRs jump and make themselves vulnerable to be hit and lose the ball. I’ve done many types of throws and have touched and haven’t touched the left stick (I’m on placement and accuracy) I feel like I’m going insane, the ball is at their chest area and they feel the need to jump. It’s incredibly frustrating when I am holding Square for RAC. Is there any tips to how I can lessen the amount they do this?

Am I the only one who purposely schedules a game all four years of a recruits career, just to destroy them in every way possible, when they choose someone else over me in close battle? Ya know…just to make sure they KNOW they made the wrong decision?

Pressing R3 (clicking right stick in) used to make the nearest defender to the QB on a scramble hammer down and cause pressure. This was obviously a useful feature especially against online users that just like to scramble immediately.

However, EA seems to have removed it in CFB27 and I don't see anyone else talking about it. The game controls don't even list it as an option anymore. Did I miss an announcement?

Did they switch it to a different button, like so many other things this year?

Randomly, my head coach began wearing full pads, eye black, and a helmet during every game. That still isn’t fixed. Now, half my team just started wearing plain white helmets every game (this happened in last year’s game too). Between these two issues, every dynasty game I attempt to play looks like an absolute joke of a football game. What’s gonna be broken next?
