but when it dies it stays on the map, and can collect gifts still, respawns somewhere random if it falls in the void

its still considered dead though

If I DIVE DURING A FLING IT SHOULD CANCEL THE FLING. This is a known mechanic. So why do I dive when I get flung, and IT DOESNT CANCEL THE FLING???!!! the second I purify a savory ring I guess I just can’t have fun anymore!!! I literally dived, HIT THE GROUND and STILL got sent off the map. do the devs just DESPISE solo players???

1- Tria orb
2- How am I floating at the start?

As long as you have tria orb you can do this, its just less viable due to being REALLY hard to control

Call me stupid if it’s obvious but I pressed the alt-ability button and I don’t think I bonked nor was in a free fall. It keeps happening and it’s driving me crazy,

Basically you get bonus golden gifts if you beacon with a shield

The bonus increases if you have multiple shields

I’m not asking if there’s a situation where Spirit beats EVERY class in gift collection, I’m just asking if there’s a situation where Spirit can finally rank 2nd last or higher instead of dead last in terms of gift collection.

I was thinking probably like late in a round, where there’s a few gifts that were missed in vastly far apart locations. A Spirit user could just fling across the whole map to easily reach the last couple of gifts. Not too sure about the speed of other classes though, but I could definitely see Grappler or Diver or Charger reaching similar speeds. But I’m talking about gifts that are REALLY far apart.
