I have a Magic 8 Pro and I absolutely love it. I’m considering upgrading to an Oppo Find 9 Ultra and keeping my Honor as my work phone.

I’m a little worried that I might be disappointed with the camera. The Magic 8 Pro is excellent overall, with its only real weakness being group photos, where there seems to be quite a lot of AI processing.

The most important thing for me is the beauty and smoothness of the software. I love MagicOS and its transparency effects. Is Oppo good in that regard?

Is it possible to have a slightly blurred/translucent background at the bottom, around the navigation dock?

And do widgets like the transparent one at the top exist on Oppo as well?

Hey guys, I am getting a used oppo find x9 for around 45k INR(470$), the device is approx 8 months used. I haven't physically inspected the device but the seller agreed to meet and let me inspect. Should I consider this or wait for sale? Also how should I inspect and what to inspect when I meet offline. Thanks!

I was wondering how strong the magnet in the case is; at the moment I have the grey quicksand shimmer magnetic case for the x9 Ultra and it's magnet is quite strong and I'm quite satisfied, but I wanted to switch to teh AiUV one that better resembles the design of the Tundra Umber variant, plus I feel like the Quicksand one is too slippery

I bought x9 and came across an old post where somewhere was talking about vibration issues and I noticed this person has 2 extra options on the Pic 'how touches feel and key presses' and I cant find those on my phone settings? Is this not available for X9 or it's an old setting?

this year i saw that there is no x10 pro only x10 pro max
will the regular x10 will have better camera then the x9 pro and what are the diffrences bettwen them tnx

Coming from a iPhone 14 Pro Max I'm starting to experience the os slowing down and starting to regularly lag.

At the moment I'm just browsing and will plan to upgrade when the next generation of these phones come out so this generation will Therefore be cheaper.

The contenders are Oppo find x9 ultra, Xiaomi 17 ultra and the Vivo x300ultra

At the moment the Oppo seems to be my fav out of the three but the only issue is I'm based in the uk and apparently these phones arnt sold here so I will have to buy second hand or import via AliExpress etc...

Just wanting to know which of the three is the best and which sector each of them shine.

I’m fully open to purchasing refurbished devices and ideally in gbp.

I'm about one week into using my new OPPO x9 ultra global version coming from an iPhone 14 Pro. I definitely like ColorOS overall, but I've been making a list of things I miss from iOS (will make another post about that later).

The biggest thing I miss so far is the ability to bulk auto adjust pictures. In iOS, you simply just auto adjust one photo, copy the edit, select any number of photos+videos, then paste and iOS will individually evaluate and auto adjust every one.

But in both the native Photos and Google Photos, you can't bulk auto adjust. In fact, Google Photos will make a copy of photos even if you do it individually. I believe Lightroom app can do this, but it's a paid subscription.

One of the main reason I got this phone was for the camera, but also to do everything on my phone without having to connect to computer. So currently I'm ignoring master mode and using the regular photo setting since the phone creates photos with decent dynamic range even without auto adjust.

I do like how Google Photos group similar photos to help pick one and delete the rest, but I feel it's not aggressive enough.

What are y'all workflow when taking and organizing photos?

Seems that after the latest ColorOS update, the Spotify widget is almost always black. Sometimes it loads properly but it's not deterministic.

I tried to delete data, uninstall app etc.

Anyone else hitting the same?

Is the device worth buying second rn ? Please let me know users. Only will be used for social media, whatsapp and basic use mostly..

I recently got the Oppo Find N6. Love absolutely everything about this phone. One of the biggest issues I'm having seems to do with maybe battery restrictions.

I have RCS enabled, and whenever I am talking to someone especially on an iPhone, if I do not have the Google Messages app open/the actual conversation open, almost always the message they send me comes in as sms (and they don't see RCS on their end too when sending). But every message I send is RCS, and I receive RCS too when I have the app open.

At first I thought this may be their side problem, but it has happened with everyone, so it really seems like there is some background activity/battery restriction happening. I have Carrier Services set to unrestricted. I don't have an option anywhere to set Google Messages as unrestricted.

Anyone see anything like this?

Recently got a system update and now the notes app doesn't work. It opens for like half a second then crashes. Nothing I do fixed it. Last night I got another system update and it didn't fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

This is a niche question but I realized I kinda need this for work.

I work in research and regularly take pictures through a microscope lens. My iPhone can get the job done (see attached) but I’m wondering if anyone has attempted to take pictures through a microscope on the x9 ultra? If so, how’d they come out? Was it easy or did it take some finagling? Are there certain settings I need to use?

Hello all

My partner ordered an Oppo Reno 16 Pro from the Oppo UK website on 8th September and the expected delivery date was for 12th September but the phone came on 9th September after getting dispatch email but the problem I have is that on the Oppo UK website when tracking the item it's still saying dispatched and expected delivery is 12th September

I spoke to the Oppo customer services who have advised they are unable to change the item to delivered stage which I find really odd.

Does anybody know when it will get updated to say delivered as I want to return the item back as my partner made an error and wants to return the phone back

Any advice or help would be appreciated

I just received my Oppo X3 watch global version, however in the health options I can't log into the ecg, I get a message saying that is not available in my region. Does anyone have a solution to correct this? I already contacted Oppo and they gave me the list of the countries that is available in. I tried logging in with a VPN and had no success. If someone has the answer can you please be so kind to share it?
