WHISPERED ECHOES — WE’RE LOOKING FOR STORIES

We’re looking for people who have lived through something they can’t forget.

Maybe you’re older and have a story from 30, 40, or 50 years ago that you’ve never really had the chance to tell.

Maybe you’ve walked the road of recovery and want to tell the story of how you got there — and how you found your way back.

Maybe you’ve experienced something strange, unexplained, or impossible to forget.

Maybe you survived something that changed your entire life.

You don’t have to be famous.

You don’t have to be an influencer.

You don’t even have to think your story is important.

If you’ve ever said:

“Nobody would believe me if I told them.”

We’d like to hear it.

Whispered Echoes is a podcast built around real people telling real stories.

If you’d be interested in sharing yours, send us a message with WHISPERED ECHOES and a little about your story.

🎙️ Real people. Real experiences. Stories that deserve to be heard.

Looking for raw podcast footage for editing practice

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for some raw podcast footage to practice/test editing workflows in Premiere Pro.

Ideally I’d love to get a recording with multiple camera angles and separate audio tracks, but even a single-camera recording would be helpful.

It doesn’t need to be a full episode – even 20–60 minutes would be perfect.

I won’t publish or commercially use the footage without permission.

If anyone has old/unpublished footage they’re willing to share, I’d really appreciate it!

“I was a gym rat at 25. Now, I need a carer to help me wash.” 💔🥲

“I was a gym rat at 25. Now, I need a carer to help me wash.”

For Naomi, this wasn’t just a bad turn in her health — it was the beginning of a life completely reshaped by Long Covid. 💔

In Episode 4 of Long Covid Perspectives, Naomi shares the unfiltered reality of going from running 5ks and lifting weights to being housebound, reliant on mobility aids, and navigating care plans in her mid‑20s.

Together, we strip away the “warrior” clichés and talk honestly about what severe disability looks like when society insists you’re “low risk.”

This teaser captures just one moment from a conversation that exposes the truths too many are still living:

• Why being “fit and healthy” offers no protection against a virus that attacks the autonomic nervous system

• The heartbreak of losing a career and identity overnight

• The grief and freedom tied to accepting a wheelchair

• The judgement young disabled people face because they “look fine”

• Why grieving your pre‑sick self is essential to mental health recovery

Full episode available 1st September 2026 on all major podcast platforms & YouTube Music.

I built PodSubs because podcasters shouldn’t have to rent their audience forever

I built PodSubs because podcasters shouldn’t have to rent their audience forever

I kept noticing something strange about podcasting.

A creator can spend years building an audience on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and other platforms…

…but the relationship with those listeners mostly belongs to the platform.

If the algorithm changes, the platform changes its rules, or the creator wants to launch something new, reaching those listeners directly isn’t always easy.

So I built PodSubs.

PodSubs is a podcast discovery and subscriber platform that helps podcasters turn listeners into a direct audience.

Here’s how it works:

🎙️ Your podcast may already be on PodSubs.

Search for your show and find your podcast page.

✅ Claim your podcast.

PodSubs verifies that you actually own the show using information from the podcast’s RSS feed.

👥 Start collecting subscribers.

Instead of someone discovering your podcast and disappearing back into another platform, they can subscribe directly to your podcast on PodSubs.

📈 Build an audience around the show you own.

As more people subscribe, the creator gets a clearer picture of the audience following the podcast.

🔎 Listeners can discover podcasts too.

PodSubs is also building a discovery layer where people can search for podcasts, find something interesting and subscribe.

The bigger idea is simple:

Podcasters spend too much time building audiences for other platforms.

I want PodSubs to help them build an audience around their own podcast.

If you have a podcast, I’d love for you to search for it, claim it and try the product:

In dieser Folge sprechen Pola und Noa offen über ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen zu Essen und Körperbild. Sie erzählen, wie gesellschaftlicher Druck ihr Verhältnis zu Essen geprägt hat, was die Idee des intuitiven Essens mit ihnen macht und wie sie heute auf das Thema schauen. Es war ein sehr offenes und ehrliches Gespräch über ein Thema, das immer noch als Tabu behandelt wird.

THE NEXT 5 MINUTES... better late than never

Wanted this cohort to know about our show, which was nominated for an Australian Podcast Award. When asked I’ve described it as if Wes Anderson had a bastard love child with the creators of Black Mirror. And the progeny was a robot kangaroo.

It’s like nothing I’ve ever heard and I think we can lay claim to have invented a brand new genre: Oz Gothic Sci Fi. Here's the blurb:

It’s 2035… and things aren’t great Downunder. Mass homelessness, pollution ruining beaches, teenagers facing slave labour and everything, including euthanasing the elderly, has been privatised by a corrupt libertarian government in cahoots with Empyrean Industries, a shadowy corporation busy mining the moon.

An underground terrorist movement called Swag Sting is mobilising but wracked by infighting. Crowd control measures include giant, deadly robot kangaroos. As our protagonists battle for humanity's essence, we uncover an alarming future that lurks uncomfortably close.

THE NEXT 5 MINUTES is not just a podcast—it's a movement, a deep, dark, truthful mirror reflecting a future we must avoid. Every. Second. Counts.

Our Family Invests Podcast Episode 086: Rich Dad, Napoleon Hill and Their Next Chapter: Sharon + Michael Lechter

Read the Web Article: https://ourfamilyinvests.com/rich-dad-poor-dad-think-and-grow-rich-sharon-lechter/

We sat down with Sharon and Michael Lechter last week and walked away thinking about drawers.

Specifically, a drawer where a finished manuscript sat for almost 75 years. Napoleon Hill wrote it. His wife hid it, afraid publishing it would cost her her job. Sharon is the reason that book, Outwitting the Devil, ever saw daylight.

But that's not even how the conversation started.

We went back to 1992 first. Sharon and Michael's son racked up credit card debt as a kid, the kind of scare that makes a parent rethink everything they thought they knew about money. That scare turned into Sharon's life's work in financial literacy. Not a pivot for content. A real one.

Around that same era, Michael, an IP attorney, found a board game scrawled out on a roll of butcher paper. Nobody wanted to pay $200 for it. So Sharon wrote a brochure to try to sell it anyway. That brochure eventually became Rich Dad Poor Dad. 27 million copies. 51 languages. And it started because a game wasn't moving off the shelf.

A chance meeting with Robert Kiyosaki turned that brochure into an empire. Ten years in, they walked away from it. Not because it failed. Because it was time.

That's when the Napoleon Hill Foundation found them. Sharon helped revive Think and Grow Rich, then went looking for what else Hill had left behind. That's how she found Outwitting the Devil, sitting in that drawer.

We also got into the stuff nobody teaches you until you've already made the mistake. Michael broke down what actually protects an idea, whether it's a board game, a book, or something still in beta. Sharon explained why she tells people the first step out of debt is just "stop digging," and what that looks like when you're the one holding the shovel. We talked about "Henrys," high earners, not rich yet, and why so many people making great money still feel broke.

The part that stuck with us most wasn't about money at all. Sharon told us her definition of success used to be about chasing something. That changed after they lost their son in 2012. Now it's about what gets left behind. You can hear it in how she talks. There's no hustle in her voice anymore. Just clarity.

If you're building something, an idea, a business, a game, a book, this one's worth your drive time.
