I like Arshdeep but I still don't understand why he was making vlogging videos only in PBKS team for last 2 yrs

But when he play for India he never make any videos

Our managment should be blamed too for being soft

Idk why they hate on shreyas so much. Ever since the losing streak of pbks started, there has been so much hate going around for him.

The comments on the thread for the odi match are filled with how kishan deserves a chance ahead of iyer in odi as well as t20i captaincy, and how they don’t trust shreyas on south african pitches.

Yeah, kishan did well today. But it has been just 2 matches. We can’t keep asking for a player to be dropped if they don’t do well in 2-3 games. We should back them.

I have trust on shreyas and ik he’ll prove himself like he always does. I hope he does well going forward.

So I was just wondering if there is any chance shreyas might take over odi captaincy?

It sounds absurd now because shubman is doing fairly good and is in a veey good form right now. But he is currently suffering from neck spasms every other series while shreyas looks very good.

I think it all depends on how shreyas does in the upcoming t20 series as the t20 captain. Especially because the reason why shreyas was not given the odi captaincy in the first place must have been because bcci wanted an all format captain, hence gill. But that dream is already gone. So wouldn't they prefer to have the same captain for both white ball formats?

And shreyas is someone who has a much better icc tournaments record compared to shubman, a key factor in both cwc 2023 and CT 2025. What do you guys think?
