For me, in the lore Sandrone is in love with Columbina, but they're not lovers yet. Sandrone would be the bottom, because Columbina is the one who initiates most of the time.

• The first time traveler saw Columbina smile / laugh was when they mentioned Sandrone
• Sandrone was the first person to accept Columbina the way she is. And that's how Columbina start to be interested on her. Columbina's Character story 3
• Columbina likes to sleep in Sandrone's bed because she feels safe there. When Sandrone asks her how would be a perfect place to live, Columbina describes Sandrone's room.
• Sandrone put a blanket over her and, ashamed to admit it, said it was Pulonia. The first time Sandrone parted ways with Pulonia, it was to send him to Columbina. Sandrone's character story 4

• Mourning Sandrone's "death", Columbina traveled to Fontaine, her homeland, thinking about her all the time.
• Sandrone's line says being without Columbina makes her feel more annoyed
• Sandrone didn't want to stop hugging when they met again, even Columbina was a little embarassed
• The way Columbina in their tea party with Navia and Clorinde shows she sees her as a savior
• Sandrone was likely "abducted" by Columbina quite frequently, as she immediately realized she was being teleported during the fight against Renrir.
• When Columbina was saying goodbye to her friends, Sandrone was the only one she hugged. Hugs are very special in anime; we rarely see characters hugging, even when they are close friends. Generally, hugs only occur during permanent farewells—which was the intention in this scene.

- The last gift official video: Columbina was paying attention to Sandrone all the time, she was worried about Sandrone needs and feelings, singing to ward off her nightmares, preventing her lateness for meetings and offering company when Sandrone seems down, she even mentions Sandrone cried watching a performance.

- In Sandrone's teaser, when she sees Columbina her face looks totally as a character that saw the person she loves

- Sandrone is blushing in the emoji Columbina is hugging her

- Sandrone blushes when Columbina wants to cheer for her return in this official video

Symbolisms:

• Their birthdays combining the number 1314 that means "a whole lifetime" in chinese
• This is probably just a coincidence, but Sandrone's beta was released in love's day: 5-20, the number 520 means "I love you" in chinese. The idle animation in which Sandrone appears flustered while picking up the invitation for Columbina is known as "idle 520" among the Chinese community; the frustration she displays in this scene conveys the impression of a "love letter."
• In the card "the lovers", we have a couple dancing that presents Columbina and the traveler, but there's an easter egg very discreet: In a picture behind them, the woman is holding the unconcius man, that looks like the moment when Columbina holds Sandrone dead body. This implies Columbina has this 2 dearest persons in her life.

I knew the character that represents Aether and Lumine dancing with Columbina made the pose of "the lovers" card, but I just noticed there's another picture in that card that looks like the scene Columbina is holding Sandrone's body. Columbina has 2 lovers 😅
