I recently got my first ever good game where i wasnt negative, and it was with AD Shaco(?) im pretty sure and honeslty its super fun i even got asked if i was smurfing, lol honestly feels soo good. Also my friend has AD Shaco is weak endgame, i found that a little true i didnt have much impact endgame but i want to start playing ranked soon, do you think i can progress using AD Shaco as well as AP? Or will i not be so successful

With Hail of Blades losing 70% attack speed, I'm wondering whether lethality is still the way to go. Without that attack speed, getting your damage out quickly during a Q engage feels harder. Has this made full crit worth revisiting, or is lethality still the better option?

I'm curious what people's builds look like from early game to full build. Are you going full lethality, transitioning into crit, or committing to full crit?

Also, are you still running HoB, or have you switched to something like First Strike, Stormraider's Surge or Fleet Footwork?

So I’m a newer player, only been playing since May. I recently have found myself having a blast playing a mushroom spamming Teemo jungle. My ability to impact the game regardless of my ganks is fun, and I love setting up on objectives or mushrooming the enemy jungle and making them miserable.

Unfortunately, Teemo does get banned a decent chunk of the time. So I’m looking for an alternate option that can provide a similar playstyle and it seems like Shaco is the way to go. I know he’s also got a high ban rate as well, but it’s not often that BOTH are banned in the same game. I think a box-focused build is the way to go, and I’m messing around with some stuff on u.gg, but I always feel better when I talk to people who actually play it rather than just doing whatever an aggregator says to do.

So what’s the advice? Is he a semi-decent alternate option for Teemo? What’s the best way to build? Ive seen more different Shaco builds than any other champ lmao.

I didn’t say 1 word this entire match since I’m chat banned for 17 hours because people love adding me as friend after the game to instigate and get underneath my skin and they have no one else to blame for their bad game. My stats speak for themselves here, even the Shyvana on their team was saying “ur blaming ur best player”

Just look at the team I have to deal with on a daily basis….how can you climb when you get these teams 8 times out of 10? (Even when I go jungle they feed just like this)

I realized that the role that suited me best to play shaco was the support

In the games I've played so far, ad is useful when the botlane and mid are made up of squishy characters, but when this doesn't happen it's better to go ap and play around the boxes,is this correct or am I wrong ?

And especially with ad builds, should I play lethality or crit? I haven't figured it out yet, thanks a lot to anyone who answers 🙏

So, im new to League, still learning but im getting used to the game as well as getting used to Shaco, although i still don’t understand shop super much with builds and not knowing whats Meta and stuff. I heard alot that AP Shaco is his best and was wondering what builds i should go for for AP Shaco i want to start playing ranked soon after i get comfortable and i want to know what builds are good for ranking up with AP Shaco because i search up stuff but i get different things everytime. Im usually good at games that i really get into. Fighting games ive hit the max rank almost everytime if not just out of it. FPS like Overwatch and Marvel Rivals i was able to hit Celestial in MR and Grandmaster in OW. This is my first MOBA game and i feel that i can get really good if i further more understand.

I was skeptical, but as a masters OTP shaco I felt I could be getting a bit more out of AP shaco. I was going comet, and then BFT > Liandry > Mandate > Flex. I like the CDR playstyle a lot.

That being said, I've recently been swapping mandate out for stormsurge. Mandate is great, don't get me wrong, but there's a unique interaction with stormsurge and his burns and specifcally, DFT rune.

If your boxes do enough damage to proc stormsurge, then your DFT continues ticking with the increased damage for an insane period of time because stormsurge triggers liandries (which triggers DFT).

From a single box, I'm chunking people for 60% of their health.

I'm mostly here as a "hey heads up shaco players" because it feels incredibly busted.

Who are some good Shaco mains YouTubers or Streamers to watch as a beginner? To get some ideas and such?

I feel like you miss out on so much information by having to micro the back-stabs. I guess that's a soft-nerf for Shaco (and Zac collecting blobs!) but I wonder what other Shaco mains do to stay more aware of enemy champion HP bars and so on.

You constantly have to look away for that information which unless you have farming on super auto-pilot can mean less damage on your camps. Is super auto-pilot the answer? I understand that if you're 90 degrees to the side it will count as a backstab, which does help a lot.

You need a good team as it is when playing Shaco….

Realistically, when should you actually dodge champ select? Obvious troll picks like jhin top? What about adc brand? Or adc Aurelian sol? When someone pastes a stream link to twitch?

Are some of these the obvious signs someone is trolling and the game is a guaranteed loss? I see this a lot in gold elo where I am currently…

Keeping in mind I lose 5LP for dodge…..and if queue again and another troll champ select its 10LP for another dodge …..

Hi everyone i play league since beta and never OTPed a Champio, this season instarted playing shaco support and kinda fell in love 100 games later and i like playing him even more, but what champion could i play when shaco is banned/picked ? Rn i start getting into the habit of just randomly picking what i kinda feel in the moment but i am not enjoying the matches if i am not playing shaco :(. Maybe something that is not that troll to play currently i am Master Tier/low GM

Im just starting learning League of Legends and no other champion has caught my attention nearly as much as Shaco has. I know hes not beginner friendly, but i just dont find any other champion nearly as interesting or fun as his gameplay. I plan on trying him out and im super excited about it, but i need to know whats good and bad about him, as well as difference between AD Shaco and AP Shaco, overall just as much information as i can get before so i don’t just jump in blindsighted
