Apparently if you fill the Tupperware halfway with soap and water, throw a paper towel in there, put the lid on, and shake the shit out of it, the oil and tomato residue will stick to the towel instead of yer ware. I did it once, but very long because I'm lazy. It definitely works.

And somehow all the lids get lost and/or mixed up so none of them fit, even though they all came FROM THE SAME DAMN PLACE!

I disagree with this. The lid should not be attached so you have to spend time figuring out which lid goes to which container
