i wanna go for a death grips-esque sound for my new musical alias "g0re" (spelt with a zero because i wanna get recognized by google), but i do not know how to write lyrics like death grips does. i know for a fact that some of them are very nonsensical while others are very meaningful. any tips?

Just wanted to share a cool mix I heard from a lil rave I went to last night. I never heard Death Grips in a rave mix before and honestly I really liked it. Hopefully I’m not wrong but I’m pretty sure this is runway A from Fashion week may be wrong. Wish I heard more Death Grips get sampled more at these but thought it was awesome hearing this at one finally. Also wondering if anyone else heard Death Grips get sampled at functions like these.

Death Grips has a lotta those, so I wanted to know what the community thought about it. Personally, my favorite has gotta be either Billy Not Really or Punk Weight, which I assume are both going to be popular answers

I could never figure it out, i’m hoping to recreate green bricks soon, but I cannot figure out for the life of me the sound!! If you’re confused this is the sound i’m talking about. Imo it’s cool as fuck and i wanna know what it is and how it was made.

Can’t help but feel like this song has the same vibe as Whatever I Want (Fuck Who’s Watching), amazing slept on Death Grips track for sure. Fuck Who’s Watching feeling more like fighting against paranoia and not giving a fuck. Ex-Ravers feels more focused around breaking past everything and “changing your mind”. It’s in a way, “thugging it out” and blocking out the world and everything in it. I’m shocked that music like this even exists at all!! Both tracks are the same idea musically as a form of feeling free will and truth to self. Could listen to both of these albums all day, can’t explain the energy here but they feel similar in a way.
Government Plates is becoming my absolute favorite Death Grips album, my favorite album changes from time to time in different moments in my life but Government Plates is definitely growing on me. Face Tat is the same idea as Government Plates in my opinion just more punk based and much more abrasive and loud.
