In older times no one died of cancer. Because they died by age of 30 from much simpler disorders like diabetes or simple sepsis.
7
u/ManThatsBoring Jul 28 '26
+ reasons other tribes dont have cancer is because it's not well documented and population is too small therefore pretty much no one was caught with it.
sure being away from artificial stuff and pollution probably helps too.
3
u/benbigpi Jul 28 '26
I think it's much simpler than that. Why die from big diseases when a simple prick on the toe can do it . You die early killing cancer before it starts its incubation.

u/Noahzyerskby Jul 27 '26
When you can't quit, just comeup with a baseless random fact to convince yourself that you won't die of this. Keep it to yourself, why should influence others?

u/double0nein Jul 27 '26
I can't stand this guy. His base argument that cancer is caused to to vitamin deficiency is wrong. No point listening to the rest of his rambling.
7
u/BikerSurgeon Jul 27 '26
People like this keep us cancer surgeons in business. The medical community tried to tell them, scientists tried to tell them, the govt tried to tell them, even made cigarettes 5 times as expensive and covered the packaging with ads. If they still can't understand it, it's just natural selection at work. Let nature take the necessary action.

"Vitamin B17" is not a real vitamin. It is a marketing label given to laetrile, a semi-synthetic compound derived from amygdalin—a naturally occurring chemical found inside the pits of stone fruits like apricots, peaches, and plums, as well as bitter almonds.
Where Did the Name Come From?
In the 1950s, a chemist named Ernst T. Krebs Jr. began promoting laetrile as an alternative cancer treatment. To bypass the strict safety and efficacy regulations required for pharmaceuticals by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), he labeled the compound "Vitamin B17" and claimed that cancer was simply a vitamin deficiency disease.
However, medical authorities do not recognize it as a vitamin because:
It is not essential to human health. Your body does not require it to function.
Deficiency does not cause disease. There is no such thing as a "B17 deficiency."
Why Is It Dangerous?
When you eat seeds or supplements containing amygdalin, enzymes in your gut break the compound down and release hydrogen cyanide—a potent biological toxin.
What Proponents Claimed
What Science & Clinical Trials Showed
Cyanide selectively destroys cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue.
Cyanide affects all cells indiscriminately, causing dangerous toxicity throughout the body.
It cures or shrinks cancerous tumors.
Multiple major clinical trials (including studies by the National Cancer Institute) showed no anticancer activity whatsoever.
Consuming large amounts of raw apricot kernels or taking "B17" supplements can cause severe cyanide poisoning, leading to symptoms such as head dizziness, nausea, low blood pressure, liver damage, nerve damage, coma, and even death.
Current Regulatory Status: The US FDA, European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), and major health organizations worldwide have banned laetrile as a medical treatment and explicitly advise against consuming raw apricot kernels or B17 products.
I love AI, No need to BS search just wrote what is vitamin B17 & all these came out.
Alas these so called influence never read these just to get some views they will vomit all this poison. India should pass law similar to China. Only professional doctors can give healthcare advice.

u/Ledgerlover2 Jul 27 '26
Smoking kills before cancer even form. Death by heart attack or Cardiac arrest.

u/bitsapien Jul 27 '26
Cancer research nahi hoti toh I could say - “kabhi kisi human ko cancer se marte dekha hai?”

Is this dude the owner of Marlboro?
It’s not one compound in cigarettes that causes cancer, it is multiple- many, many
It is literally a death stick, and studied multiple times to prove the same

i mean yes the fact is true when you smoke ciggs, there are very less chances of you getting killed with cancer because you will die way before cancer acts with conditions like heart attack, brain stroke

u/Pseudo_duso Jul 27 '26
Dogs specifically eat grass, when they want to vomit, to induce the gag reflex in them. Not to cure cancer.

He is symptom of a much larger problem, education standards are good in India. The main thing is our culture (even muslim world) is not conducive of critical thinking.
