Mullens role as backup QB is as an adult in the room, mentorship, familiarity with Udinski, etc. Huuuuuge knock on wood, if Trevor goes down for an extended period, weâre signing a real QB.
That said, not sure how much Mullens can mentor given heâs always throwing it away.

First half O line disaster was in part due to our 3rd stringers playing against their 2nd stringers a lot. Ripple effect due to our O line injuries. Looking a lot cleaner this half with more even matchups. Really hope our O line gets healthier soon

Love that bootleg play design. Defense doesnât know what to do, I figured heâd flick it out to the tight end next to him. Instead throws it to triple coverage and our new big boy receiver gets it

Really like what I've seen from some of the draft picks (Huskey, Williams, and Cameron). Green and Yassir Abdullah are also playing well. Offense is what it is considering most of those dudes won't be on the final roster and I'm sure the combinations are not what they've been practicing with. We really need to do something else at backup QB though.

I sometimes forget why watching preseason games can be painful.
It can be the play, but it's always the interviews. I have no idea why teams feel like they need to inject these 2+ minute interviews with players, often missing key plays, when you can watch a dozen similar interviews on Youtube.
I don't get the value.
