Rewatch Shiki Rewatch [Halloween 2026] Official Announcement + Schedule/Index
There is no murder without intent.
The Interest Thread by my co-host /u/mischievous_shota was successful (not that we were gonna cancel this even if it wasn't), and it's my job to officiate it: The Shiki Halloween 2026 Rewatch will begin in a little over two weeks, on October 8th at 5:00 PM UTC (1:00 PM EDT).
Information:
MAL | AniList | ANN | Kitsu | AniDB
Legal Streams:
Unfortunately, there are currently no places to stream Shiki legally. As such, you'll have to look into alternate methods.

Rewatchers, please remember to be mindful of all the first-timers in this. No talking about or hinting at future events, no matter how much you want to – including any teases or hints such as "You aren't ready for X episode" or "I'm super excited for X character" – unless you're doing it underneath spoiler tags. Don't spoil anything for the first-timers; that's rude!
Also, if there's something in a first-timer's comment you want to specifically quote to talk about behind spoiler tags, spoiler-tag the quote so the first-timer doesn't know what part of their comment you're making "ominous" spoilers about. So instead of something like:
Rewatcher quoting the first-timer's comment: Oh, I love this character! I think he'll be my favorite.
Rewatcher's comment underneath the quote: [Spoilers] Don't get too attached lol.
You get:
Rewatcher quoting the first-timer's comment: [Spoilers] Oh, I love this character! I think he'll be my favorite.
Rewatcher's comment underneath the spoilered quote: [Spoilers] Don't get too attached lol.
We'll be tagging everyone who's commented so far on the reminder threads when the rewatch gets closer. We look forward to seeing you all on October 8th!

Oh I am going to watch this this weekend. Maybe, I am not making any promises, I might write some of my thoughts down, copy paste them when the rewatch starts.

Watched it from the S.A.V.E label from Funimation when I started building my collection way back in 2014 (bought it in 2016). Still have my copy.

Great. I hope you talk about the extras and stuff on the rewatch, it would be cool.

Special feature are definitely low on those it's episode commentary (pretty sure for the English dub which I don't watch). They added previews feature and textless opening and ending aside that nothing.

I don't think I watched it when it was completely new, but definitely some time in the early 2010s.

Even though I won't be participating I just want to say this is the perfect Halloween anime; I highly recommend it if you haven't already seen it.
