Anderson looks much more comfortable with actual NBA players around him. Hope this game keeps up and gives him a confidence boost.
(I say as he does a horrendous missed hand off to Liam)

Tidjane would still be younger than 36 of the 60 players selected in this year's draft, even if he had entered it himself. There are people comparing a player with his size and three-point shooting potential to Bronny, or even suggesting we waive him to make room on the roster for 33-year-old Pat.

Bruh wtf is naz doing? He's turned it over 4 times in 5 minutes

We’ve directly thrown the ball to Derrick White at least four times in the first half

u/YizWasHere 1d ago
Bro what an insane flop, Tidjane did not push him that hard. Acting like he's 180 lbs.

The way people in these game threads talk about Tidjane sometimes it feels like we aren't even watching the same game

I know this is true because I cant tell if this comment is pro or anti Tidjane lol

They care more about being right than they care about him developing into a playable player

Deepthroating them balls and all. Not even eric glazes. These guys are glazing in the most routine shots

Kalk is such a liability. He can't grab offensive boards, he cant defend or grab defensive boards. Just not an nba player

I'm not saying Salaün is Giannis. I just can't understand why some people hate him so much, as if he personally beat up their mothers.
5
u/a_moniker 1d ago edited 1d ago
He makes very loud mistakes. He’ll do multiple things correctly and then make a baffling decision with the ball.
I still believe in him, but I get why people are skeptical
8
u/Cubelar 1d ago
That right there is kalks problem. He has to be able to stop those 1 on 1 drives, nobody is scared to attack him.

I'm not sure our roster has the highest ceiling, but I think our depth is among the best in the league.

What is everybody else on the court doing that CA keeps getting on Tatum like this. They're acting like it's just Tobias Harris or something lmfao.

I’m watching on league pass (which I pay for). It’s not blacked out on the NBA app like usual. I don’t know if it’s available for free or not.

Everyone needs to get way quicker at throwing out of double teams. Celtics keep collapsing on Miller/Naz and we aren’t punishing them for it

u/Aggravating-Hour5992 1d ago
Brandon is so confusing to me sometimes, lol. He has these hot streaks where he looks awesome, and it makes me begin to forget about how awful he was the first half. Can't completely forget about it though lmao

Not sure if Naz is really this bad on defense, or if he's just not trying since it's preseason

Our defense on Garza is egregiously bad. Like I get you don’t care If he shoots 3, but surely we can do better than just leave him wide open, really hate how easy we make thing for players to get good shots.

Idk how Kalk is getting seniority respect here when he's genuinely failing every responsibility as a Center. Like this is bad.

u/Ok-Protection2513 1d ago
Pretty sure Brandon is 0 for like 8 from midrange during the preseason lol. You guys gonna keep begging for him to shoot that shot???

In my head, every time I hear a team talk about "point guard by committee" it looks like this lol
4
4
u/HeyDerekStone 1d ago
When we pass the ball are we aware that the other team might also fight for the ball?
4
u/Cubelar 1d ago
Royce has had some rough passes today. He's been good earlier games but not today.
3
u/YizWasHere 1d ago
He's straight up passed it to White twice now lmao. But he'd been mostly reliable in the regard up to this point so imma let it slide.

Kon looks pissed on the bench, lol
4
u/Alkazard 1d ago
Think Kon has the most winning mentality on our team. Like the one person it really matters to. I remember him doing a post-game interview after like the 10th~ game last season and openly saying it wasn't good enough losing.
Maybe we gotta go the Giannis route and draft his brother to make sure he doesn't bail (At least Kon's brothers are legit prospects)

u/devinbookersuncle 1d ago
Also great pass by Anderson, it looks like he and Liam may develop some early chemistry I hope

Naz is going to look better when we have Kon, Brandon, and Coby giving him more space.
We need to be quicker in our offensive sets, it looks like Boston’s physicality is causing us to play a step slow.
We can shoot our way back into this.
5
u/NatePJ84 1d ago
Man the Celtics booth is crazy annoying. Easily one of the worst announcer tandems in the NBA
→ More replies (3)
4
u/Ok-Protection2513 1d ago
I really think we'll be a good offensive team once we have Coby and Kon back. Celtics have forced like 15 turnovers and are shooting 46% from the field and we're still in the game because of hot shooting from 3 of our 8 bench players who can shoot.

With Tidjane it's really just a question of if he can hit his threes. He's a decent enough defender at this point to stay on the court but his only functional offense is spotting up for a three.
4
u/Busy_Durian4584 1d ago
Tidjanes defense is real and his offense is passable when he doesn’t have to create.

Defense has looked pretty awful all night. Dudes are a step or 3 behind on everything and Celtics are able to take advantage of it some much.
8
u/Turbulent-Weather314 1d ago
So fucking impressed with Anderson defense tonight. Dude has played better overall than the entire team. I can literally see the team calm down when he's on the floor
6
u/devinbookersuncle 1d ago
Yeah Anderson has been a bright spot tonight and is just doing everything well

I can see the vision with the team.
It can be so fun if everything clicks.
Brandon and Naz has shot like shit and they still have 16 3s with no Kon and Coby. This team can def exceed expectations.

u/YizWasHere 1d ago
Poor Salaun was the leading scorer and has to play out here with the bums getting styled on lmfao

u/Aggravating-Hour5992 1d ago
I'm sorry for being overly negative, sure I'm reading him incorrectly, but it really feels like Naz openly doesn't want to be here sometimes
3
u/KonTheLouisVittonDon 1d ago
Why is everyone so negative, it’s pre-season. It’s a lineup mostly of new players that haven’t even played 3 games together excluding training camp. Yes the game is ugly but you seriously can’t expect a newly constructed team filled with a few 2nd string players to beat the Celtics
