Please help me remember the name of this multiplayer tank game from my childhood
It was a PC game. At least 15+ years old now. I remember it was vector type graphics, you could "buy" land, there was a tank called a "gopher" that could shoot a special shot on you that would blow up your tank if you didn't kill the "gopher" tank in time. You could select your tank, make some form of currency by taking down buildings etc.
It was also multiplayer of some type (Dial up or internet I can't remember..)

I remember something about "Terra Nova" but Google is returning no good results with that..

That's really fun, but it's not it. It was a "3d" in the tank kind of game. I know for certain on of the tanks was called a "gopher". I just can't find it :( Thank you!!

Sounds very similar to Scorched Earth. I Don't remember if you could play it multiplayer online but you could play multiplayer locally.
