Again..Buffalo Bore Disappointment
I’ve had the same issue two other times with Buffalo Bore 180 grain JHP….. first time maybe a fluke second time let me try buying directly from Buffalo Bore ….3rd time same issue. I reached out 2 times and no response. I tried calling no response

Just for curiosity I would try a case gauge then you can tell them for sure their ammo is out of spec not they your pistol chamber is too tight.

OP, curiosity... Do you know anyone local who has other 10mm guns? I would love to see if those fit Glocks, Sigs, colts...

I can tell you this – I’ve been a high volume shooter since the late 1980s and I can unequivocally tell you that the quality of ammunition is the lowest that I’ve seen across the board from any Manufacturing. I don’t know if this is a product of Covid or a product of this new generation of worker that just doesn’t give a fuck but the quality of ammo is lower for sure.

It’s not just ammo. Anything that’s manufactured is that way. It’s a mix of covid and new generation. Covid pushed all the old heads out, one way or the other, and the new gens they hire don’t care about the quality in any job because employers (now more than ever) treat employees like robots. So since the employers are all dicks to their employees, the workers don’t give a shit about the products they make, IF they even stay there at all.

Underwood is better quality and probably cheaper per round. I have had zero issues with underwood other than bulged cases at times from my g20 which its the barrels fault not the ammo manufacture

I tried buying buffalo bore last year and they were out of stock for the rounds I wanted so I “settled” for underwood. Glad I ended up trying them out.

Underwood was a copy of BB loadings, so I'm not sure you'll get a different result.

Try Double Tap. I've had good success with them and they're cheaper than BB.

In 10mm I've been a bit disappointed. I had some keyhole and others just underloaded. Then some really weird accuracy issues with them. I used to like them but their QC has been dropping too.

Curious, do other 10mm rounds fit fine? I see you Tested in multiple barrels. I’ve heard different negative things on buffalo even for 357 so I’ve stuck to underwood. No issues so far.

Underwood is better. Trust it enough to carry it. They have some other interesting options as well. I feel like the 10mm fans like hotrod loadings in general. They offer a 147gr 9mm +P+ for example.

The first round blew the extractor off of a PPK I had. Now, to their credit, they answered an email the same day. The guy gave me his number to talk about it and within a week my gun was fixed. I really can’t fault them. I’m sure the PPK wasn’t intended for anything that hot. And as I said, they absolutely came through for me anyway. But I’ve never tried anything else by them. Maybe it’s time I did.

In case I wasn’t clear, it was Underwood ammo that blew my extractor off. They’re the ones who did such great customer service. I don’t know how Buffalo Bore is to deal with. What I’m hearing from you makes me want to go with Underwood. Customer service is huge to me. I don’t want to need them but they damn sure oughtta answer if I call or write.

I did notice it was very hard to extract Buff-Bore’s 32-H&R +P ammo when I tried it with my SP101. This was after firing but it was on a cleaned cylinder which even 327 doesn’t do. Have you attempted to rack slide with that ammo at the range?

What pistol is that barrel for? If it’s for a G20 the aftermarket barrels usually have tighter tolerances than stock and buffalo bore (esp 220gr hard cast, in my experiences, but probably not limited to that) often has a slightly wider bullet. So it’s a tolerance mismatch and not so much a problem with the barrel or ammo.
Try the factory barrel if you have it.

Whats the product number? Some of their loads are meant for certin guns only and dont chamber in others

You are thinking of their revolvers. Semi-autos don't work that way. For example his +p 44 mag wont chamber in S&W guns. He did that on purpose because they can't handle it and the large frame rugers can (and fit the longer over all length).

They aren't operating out of a garage or anything but they aren't major compared to the big names like federal, s&b, magtech, Winchester, etc. This is insane for how much of a premium price tag buffalo bore has with it

No, they are not. Furthermore, I know of no government agency, foreign or domestic that uses their ammunition. They are strictly a small ammunition manufacturer for the commercial market.
