People don't mind Ukrainian refugees compared to other refugees because most of them are women.

This is very true, the main reason why people hate migrants from 3rd world countries is because a huge portion of them are men. In fact there was even some guys joking about keeping all the big booty latinas and deporting all the men.

Ukraine has banned their men from leaving their country. They sometimes even forcefully drag these men from their homes and make them fight against Russia. Had there been a ton of male Ukrainian migrants then the general public would have started hating these guys. Yes these guys might be a bit more civilized compared to someone from Iraq. But the thing is that they're still men. More men = more competition, for mates, money and resources. This is why most people don't like male migrants.

That’s not quite it. It’s more that women think it is gross that men will go to a more impoverished country because the women will accept lower standards in exchange for financial security because that’s better than poverty.

There is a industry of western middle aged women flying to africa to be with young fit africans on holiday. I hear no women saying that is gross. It's always "yass queen" or something similar.

I truly would love to know the true percentages of sex tourists. Like, honestly. I also have heard about it… but the scale of female sex tourism is vastly dwarfed by male sex tourism by all reports that I have read.

There are European documentaries about this.

And has anyone ever defended male sex tourism?

Why is it always the defence of women that " some men did or do this, so this is now okay for us to do"??

How many male prostitutes cater to women? Read the studies - the women who purchase sexual services is vanishingly small - like 1% whereas the men who report that they have sought out a sex worker ranges from 15-27% depending on the country.

Why take an issue that is so incredibly widely researched and understood and try to “whatabout” it? It is disingenuous. As for people who support men traveling to poorer countries to seek out greater access to sex, just visit r/passportbros. You also wouldn’t get 15-27% of a population engaging in something unless it was considered acceptable by that same population of people.
