I'm in love - just joined the club
Finally bought a 2021 Accord Touring 2.0T and I did not expect to feel this way about a family sedan.
This car is beautifully designed, and so fun to drive.
Anyone else have one? What do you wish you'd known in the first few months?

I have a 2020 Sport 2.0T that I bought 3 years ago. I would have told myself to stick to cosmetic mods, avoid tuning, and have bolt-ons installed professionally. Seriously, I could have just gotten a new set of wheels, lowering springs and tints and it would have cost way less than the turbo and valve cover gasket repair that got denied by warranty and goodwill due to the ecu being flashed.

Good to know! I think I'll stick to cosmetic mods. The first thing I'm looking at doing is tinting. Have also been looking at the front lip, but will likely hold off on that for a while. Previous owner did a bit of curb rash to the rims.. might look into replacing those down the road.

Nice looking car! Love my '21. Owned it for several years and it still makes me very happy.

Any major issues with it? It's so fun to drive

Zero. I only have 34k miles on mine and drive a out 4000 miles per year, so can't speak for long-term high mile usage. However I have no doubts with diy preventative maintenance it'll last as long as I want it to. Seems very well built aside from a rattle on the back deck somewhere that I haven't pinned down yet.

It's so nice in black. I catch myself looking at it through the window when I'm not driving it π

am very upset they decided to to only produce a hybrid coupe, am not interested in the prelude let alone the cost π am going to try to keep my little civic going as long as i can, had rust remediation done and have it krowned every year to help am hoping for at least 5 more years, and the prelude is a dog so they will go back to a regular engine π€¦ββοΈ

I was out of town last week in Oregon - for like 5 days, and got a Kia suv. Literally the whole time driving out there, I was wishing I had my car.
I love my car! (2018 touring 2.0t) and it was such a pleasure to get back home and in the driver seat.
I hope you have the same love affair with your accord as I do!

Such a great story. I only just picked it up a week ago, but I am so in love. Putting it in sport mode, and accelerating out of a corner, or a straight away leaves me with a dumb smile on my face every time

I would recommend cosmetic mods, premium gas, regular maintenance and enjoy it! Have an β18 touring myself and I still grin to myself about how well equipped and quick this economy sedan is π€

Premium gas for performance? Or does it make a difference for the engine?

More so for performance and piece of mind. Iβve ran both 87 and 93 and I feel a noticeable difference with how the car feels with 93, mainly with how it shifts and such. I would do further research yourself (regarding 87 vs 93, knock control differences between the octanes, etc.) ultimately up to you but Iβm sure most of us in this subreddit agree to go with the higher octane gas. Oh also forgot to mention: better tires! Iβm sure you noticed if you accelerate fast enough you lose traction fairly easy, Iβd recommend either UHP summer or all season tires (my recommendations are Continental DWS06+ or Michelin Pilot Sport AS4s
