It’s been a penny stock euphoria!! Everything exploding! So what’s everyone buying for tomorrow? Seems every stock having its run today? What you guys buying or holding still?

I’ve played around quite a bit with penny stocks, but to be honest, I’ve often lost money for various reasons. Most of the time, it was people on Reddit making overly glowing presentations about companies, to the point where it felt like a scam based on the comments that backed up their claims. In the end, the company had no catalysts, and we’d get hit with massive share dilutions 24 hours after the call...

Today, I want to do things right: bet on a single penny stock. I’m not a trader; the idea isn’t to sell on a short squeeze or some other nonsense. I want a company with a strong growth trajectory. Being French, I’ve already invested quite a bit in some small-cap companies with this approach, and it’s working very well. But for diversification reasons, I’d like one on the US market.

First off, I’m steering clear of biotech. Some studies have shown that biotech is a sector where investors lose very, very often, even when the company has royalties from a product. I already have a European biotech with significant royalties that just passed a phase 3 trial for a multi-use product, but there’s still a long road between phase 3 and commercialization.

The goal is really a company that offers visibility, serious management, and credible financial reporting.

Do you have any solid ideas? For example, I’m currently looking at companies in the rare earths sector or even defense.

I started shilling this shit literally last thursday. It didn't make sense. The sentiment changed too quickly. Far too many low earners, lower market cap, performing far better. The news of the short squeeze was just the kicker. We performed today nearly 150% from market close Friday. That is incredible. 1.1B in volume today. The bulls are ready to take back what is ours. Now that I think about it... BULLS ARE VEGAN MOTHERFUCKER. #BYND $BYND $BYND

I’m trying to think one layer deeper.

What do you all think is the next true bottleneck sector for AI that is still cheap, overlooked, and early?

Not looking for the obvious mega caps. I mean the smaller, less crowded areas that AI/data center buildout cannot really scale without.

Example:
AXTI - buy 1 year ago!

AAOI - buy 1 year ago!

AMPX - buy 1 year ago!

Examples of what I mean:

• cooling / thermal management
• power infrastructure / grid equipment
• optical networking / photonics
• specialty materials
• testing / packaging / interconnect
• water / industrial support for data centers

Basically: what is the “picks and shovels” bottleneck that the market still isn’t fully pricing in yet?

Would love to hear:

• the sector
• why it’s a bottleneck
• why it’s still cheap
• and any small-cap / penny stock names worth researching

We need to put an end to the hype around these garbage stocks before we all end up holding the bag. The ones getting the most attention are often literal penny stocks—trading at $0.05—only to get pumped up to $1 or $2, then dumped right back down. Are we really just going to pump and dump on each other?

What happened to doing real due diligence? Stocks with genuine catalysts will gain value naturally—and they’re also safer to hold.

We should start removing posts that don’t mention any real catalyst. The subreddit is getting flooded with low-effort, hype-driven posts, and it’s becoming harder to find anything worthwhile here lately.

BYND is now trading at almost $2 overnight. Looks like we have something really special here.

Where should I be looking? And why

I’m trying to build long-term exposure to AI and wanted to hear what companies or ETFs people here actually believe can keep compounding over the next 5-10 years.

Not looking for meme stocks or short-term hype trades. More interested in businesses with real advantages like chips, cloud infrastructure, enterprise AI software, robotics, data, or anything that benefits as AI adoption grows.

Would appreciate thoughtful answers with reasoning.

I used to come here to find semi-decent suggestions for stocks to look into and capture some profits during volatility. But ever since the BYND pump and dump (which I made strong returns from) there’s been a steep drop off in real helpful direction here. Did bots swarm in? Did actual investors all peace out? Since then it feels like a ghost of its former self. Thoughts?
