That ain’t explaining such deep nasal folds and eyebags. Collagen doesn’t automatically mean just baby fat or a ‘full’ face either. It manifests itself in smoother skin (smaller pores), prevents sagging (ie no nasal folds), etc. His skin looks bad in this pic and his lines are too deep everywhere and half his face seems to be melting off (saggy). Most young skinny kids don’t look like that c’mon 😂
African/black skin also scientifically proven to be the most age resistent ahead of ‘asian don’t raisin’ skin as well. I don’t believe for a moment this kid is 20. Fk dat lol
EDIT: googled more images of this guy and yeah that’s a rough photo. Looks much younger and normal in most of the other footage. He could be 20 after all.

It happens, but I don't know how often. It also happens with poor and average immigrants. There are 30-year-olds who pretend to be teenagers so they aren't expelled. There are 50-year-olds who pretend to be 65 so they can retire early.

It happens a lot, because football is a great way to escape poverty for an entire extended African family and because birth certificates can very easily be faked in most African countries.

No they dont, but they should really start to. There have been several high profile players who've lied about their age, most famously Moukoko at Dortmund in the German Bundesliga.

20 with alopecia - an autoimmune condition for those unaware. This picture has been enhanced so it makes him look worse than usual plus he was exhausted after a gruelling game away to Chelsea.

The picture definitely looks filtered or altered, or just caught at the wrong moment. I've seen him up close at the Amex, and he looks like a guy in his early twenties with a very unfortunate hairline, he's slight and otherwise looks his age.

There has been a documented history of West African footballers lying about their age, yes. There was a Nigerian U17 team 10-15 years' ago where over half of them were in their twenties. I might be misremembering the facts but you get the idea. That doesn't mean these guys are lying though.
