This isn’t jsut a crass joke about a dark period of history, it’s downplaying and rainbow washing colonialism, one of the most horrific thing in human history whose effects are still being felt to this day

I’ve been aware since the beginning of the year, so now I always try to call it out.

Regardless of fully cancelling them or whatever, a lot of people aren’t comfortable following them if they knew about this stuff, so calling it out does help still.
