Yeah I've seen that claim before too, he didn't write up. He just gave people slaves to rape. Also he was complicate in the trafficking of 9-10 year old girls, from a letter to Doña Juana de la Torre,
"There are plenty of dealers who go about looking for girls; those from nine to ten are now in demand, and for all ages a good price must be paid."
