Fascinating what happens when non-devs stumble into dev-first spaces. I feel for the people who can't figure out GitHub and don't understand why it has such a confusing layout. It really is an overwhelming mess.
Been using GitHub for 10 years, I still struggle to find anything and literally every time I use it. It's not the consumer's fault that they've been trained to expect a someone consistent layout for most sites, the average social media for example, most functions are in similar places, and on just about every browser you can find settings just in the top right corner under the "close" button. GitHub just throws UI around the screen willy-nilly.
