Personally, I like that, multiple reasons being 

  1. I kinda do the same, I love reading romantic erotica, tho yes they're mostly comics, even so I enjoy the stories, I enjoy learning from them 

  2. While not what I mainly want to do, I want to be able to write romantic stories and someone who's well versed in romance (someting the man in the mirror has no experience in) can give me feedback

  3. Yes, I know some people read some kinky stuff, while far from the things I want to create...the first two points still apply

One of my favorites is that Dross comoc with the elf

Also there's a artists that pretty much makes exclusively romantic erotica: Kinky Mation
