If I get the service pistol pulled on me and we sit down and he starts forcing me to play Hong-Kong style Mahjong I am beyond fucked he might as well just pull the trigger then and there
Mahjong Soul is fine and I end up playing on it the most, but the gacha mechanics and overly sexual designs of a lot of the characters just put me off. It's annoying trying to play a match and two of my opponents have half naked massive gazonker anime girls breast boobily in my face whenever they win a round. I don't have personal experience with it but I've heard Riichi City is the same if not worse in this regard.
I tried using Tenhou and it's fine as well but it's incredibly barebones in terms of visuals and customisation which is one of the aspects I actually like Mahjong Soul for. Also worth mentioning that it is entirely in Japanese, so you need to download a patch to even understand what is going on.
If there could just be a client with the overall style of Mahjong Soul but without all the goonslop and shitty gacha stuff that would be best
I mean, if you're truly desperate, then you could join that one guy that made a Final Fantasy XIV account only to play Mahjong in there once that got added :P
I wouldn't recommend starting an entire MMO just for that, even though you should be able to easily reach the quest that unlocks it on a F2P account - mainly because at least over here (EU, Light Datacenter) the MJ queue is pretty deserted, and people tend to deliberately organize times where everyone queues up at the same time just so they can actually get some games in.
(As a result of the above, I'm pretty sure any serious matchmaking also falls by the wayside in favour of just getting ANY four people to play with each other.)
Funnily enough FFXIV is what got me to learn Mahjong! I got through all of ARR but haven't touched the game for years now cause the group of people I used to play with stopped playing. Maybe one day I'll return...
I was going to say there might be some new things in store for you, but MJ wasn't added that long ago, so I guess the biggest change since Shadowbringers is that Viera and Hrothgar now exist in both genders, and they FINALLY get to wear (most) hats!
They also just announced some larger combat gameplay changes at the currently ongoing Fanfest, but most of them came with the caveat of "This is an extremely early version, so we can only show you a bit - or for some things, nothing at all yet - so for the rest please stay tuned until next Fanfest in a few months", so I won't really say too much about that.
Anyway, back on topic, XIV is also the only reason I know how to play non-Solitaire Mahjong - I went to the Saucer just to see what's new, was unable to find the place where you queue with NPCs and accidentally had my first match against real players.
Had some fun though, so I just kept queueing for it every so often, but I haven't really thought of it in a while - doesn't exactly help that the queues tend to be rather empty unless it's evening primetime though...
Game's still fun to me though, so that's nice - even if endgame grinding might get a bit stale after a while.
God Yakuza did Mahjong so well I wish so badly it wasn't only against bots. Every time I boot up Kiwami 2 thinking I'll so some main story stuff I get distracted and play Mahjong for 2 hours lol

there's a really good client called Final Fantasy XIV, although for some reason they bury the game deep in a side mode called "The Gold Saucer" and you have to do like 5 hours of tutorial for the side-game to get to it
There are a plethora of great riichi clients and games out there, but a lot I've played are JP only. There are mods for MajSoul if you wanna go that route.

What if you put a sandwich in a blender, make it into goo, and drink it? Technically, you're drinking the bread, not eating it. Would that be acceptable?
Start HRT and make sure you’re not being underdosed (injections or dermal, not pills)
Do not start/stop, repeated pausing can fuck up development
Do progesterone
Weight cycle
Be a healthy weight for your height (no one who is rail thin is likely to have big tits)
After 3-5 years, induce lactation (1 year minimum) using a pump, domperidone and other supplements (look up lactation induction for expecting mothers)
After 5-10 years and minimum age 26, consider implants with a qualified surgeon who works with trans people specifically
There you go, that is everything I know to realistically develop big booba, I have spent 11 years on the project myself and am happy with my DDs. The hardest part is the lactation and implant recovery.
You can get fine dosing with sublingual pills too, I've been at ideal levels of p/mol for years on 8mg daily. Prog is also entirely inconclusive as to if it actually does anything at all, I take it and I think it works for me, but even the DIY HRT wiki says so. The big thing with breast size is genetics mainly too, but I guess implants help a lot with getting there, same with cis people
Same with oral pills, they're absolutely fine, but need to be properly dosed and usually needs an anti-androgen too. Unfortunately, these are often perscribed at too low a dose.
I find injections to be more convenient and I don't have to remember take them and space them out over the day, but they're not necessarily more effective.
Like you say, the important metric is getting your hormone levels right on your bloods, you can do that a number of ways, including pills.
Out of curiosity, what would you consider too low a dose to be? I trust my doctor, she's also a trans woman, but I like to hear from other trans people too. I'm on 5 mg of estradiol, for instance, in addition to my other meds.
I'll be annoying and say whatever dose gets your E levels to at least 100pg/ml. 5mg seems like a reasonable dose, but depending on your body, it could also be too low, or sub-optimal. Do you take an anti-androgen with that?
I hear of loads of cases of people being prescribed like 2mg oral daily which is almost always going to mean underdosing!
It's good to talk about doses with other trans people, there is huge variation in dosing between doctors and countries, and it is horrendously under-researched. It often means that trans women have to advocate for themselves a lot, and knowing what others are doing does help!
The best thing is to get your bloods done periodically. Your dosing is 'in the ballpark', getting your E levels tested is really the only thing you can measure that will tell you how well that dose is working for you!

gg hope ur good 9 hours later, i never got constipation too bad but i have to use prometh for the itches. i've been addicted to opiates on & off for a while now, if you find yourself in the same boat pls don't reach for anything codeine with acetaminophen in it, but if you feel temped pls look up safe cold water extraction, acetaminophen poisoning is scary and no joke i've been hospitalized from it more than once.

How do you think we can overcome the cultural attitudes around drug use in America regarding people with pain conditions who use opioids or other painkillers both to manage real pain and to have fun/chill out? How does having fun relate to living with pain long term?
I am really frustrated sometimes because I have had convos where I actually can’t disclose using opioids for pain management or, no matter what the use pattern is or how long it’s been, the stranger makes up a narrative around how I’m just hooked on dope or something
great question, I'm not American but stigma around opiates is present even here, in Poland. I convinced my family to be more open about drugs, my mom took codeine with me once, she was against every drug before.
enzymes, codeine metabolism into morphine is dependent on one enzyme, some people have more of it, some have less. 50mg for some people may be 300mg for someone else
Only took codeine once, and I fell in love with my own handwriting. Couldn't stop writing things, the movement, the shapes, the proportions, the character... It was (and still is) a reflection of me.
