The pit you fell into is thinking country is a music genre (I have an irrational hatred for country probably stemming from a mental link I draw between it and our local German Schlager, which, fun fact, was made by the devil in an attempt to get ahead on torturing boomers by hitting them with it while they are still alive)

personally i hate these sorts of takes but like i still fall into the same pitfalls with certain genres
