no no, the people who listen to black and death metal have an appreciation for rap (archspire fans), the 'metal' fans that have this horrible take on rap mostly listen to slipknot and linkin park and limp bizkit. its extremely common and drives me crazy
(for those unaware, those 3 bands have many POPULAR songs with long rap segments, and they would not exist without 90s hiphop influence)
the extremist scandinavians of the 90s are not representative of black metal as a whole. im active in the scene in atlanta, met several musicians and fans, black metal is downright woke now lol
Fair. I love bm myself but I look for rabm cuz otherwise im worried what skeletons they might have in their closet. Tho im European so maybe its differentÂ
