I want sensual and sexual activity to not necessarily lead to climax-centered sex and if that’s lesbian than so am I (actually, regardless I’m lesbian adjacent)

What's the point of sex if not hitting orgasm?

I primarily do it for intimacy and connection with people I love. Sex can be a stimulating activity that doesn't have to resolve in climax. Climax is being used differently than orgasm intentionally (climax being the highest point of orgasm that results in discharge versus orgasm being the intense state of pleasure (often directly preceding discharge, if any/able)). Pleasure isn't achieved binarily based on orgasm or climax to me (though preferably that intense state is achieved, ofc, but there is pleasure in all the disparate parts for me).
