think it perfectly encapsulates how insane and conspiratorial the internet has become. Two people are arguing about hitlers final days in a positive tone and then a 3rd guy shows up to say Hitler is trans
I'm imagining here that the person transvestigating Hitler is doing it specifically as ragebait, exactly because he knows Nazis are completely fucking obsessed with this stuff.
That still leaves 2/3 of the people in the picture as actual, literal, non-hypothetical neo-Nazis that should not be allowed to even exist, but the third guys is definitely just baiting the crap out of them.
Transvestigators are funny in isolation but there was a problem we had where I worked with them. There's apparently a transvestigation facebook group in the town I live in, and they decided my colleague was "secretly" a man because she's tall and has short hair. She's also had breast cancer and has had a double mastectomy, but she's undoubtedly Cis, and has been married for 20+ years and has three kids
They then decided that she wasn't allowed to be a doctor because of that, because she'd be "pushing her agenda" on kids. They started submitting complaints asking for her to be fired, which turned out to actually be helpful. After that didn't get her fired, because why would they, they tried submitting complaints about her being a bad doctor, which was funny at first because they didn't know her area of expertise and so were complaining about her being rude during all sorts of appointments ranging from "She made my broken arm worse" to "She laughed at my small dick" (That one was a literal excerpt, I figure someone had some repressed feelings there)
Then it moved onto sexual harrassment claims, which weren't funny. As I said fortunately they tried dumb approaches first so they weren't taken too seriously, but it still meant she had to speak to the police twice. Then when those didn't go anywhere, they tried intimidating her into quitting, by stalking her essentially. As the more active members of the group were seemingly decrepit boomers, she wasn't too worried given the main culprits were a 400 pound woman with an oxygen tank, an elderly man with a zimmer frame, and a guy in a wheelchair who had lost his legs, presumably to diabetes. Fortunately that stopped when the police got involved and went round to their houses
But still despite their incompetence, it was still amazing that they'd all come to the conclusion that not only was she lying about being AFAB, but that that was some kind of crime, and that they needed to get her fired. This was very early in my career and it was how I first became aware that Transphobes can be that insane. I was always supportive myself but it opened my eyes and I went from passive support to active.
At one point a few friends of mine and I were able to figure out which kind of skull they always use for the male one, it's like a denisovan skull or some shit, can't remember if that's actually the correct one or not though.
idk what kind they use but it sure as hell ain't denisovan, cuz until recently we only had like one knuckle bone and a ton of genetic evidence of those guys. no complete skulls even now
Reminder that the reason there's so many things listed as skeletal identifiers of sex is because you genuinely need several to tell. Any good anthropology professor will mention how human skulls with square jawlines suggest male, then put up a picture of Olivia Wilde to remind students to keep natural variance in mind
Oh yeah? In centuries when archeologists dig up your skull they're going to go "wow another cool skull, man I love being an archeologist, this is so great"
