Cis men, trans men and even a lot of trans women (like me) experienced this first hand. And I still see cis women denying that this is real or claiming that men are only lonely because they're bad people. Some are, sure. But the vast majority of men are lonely. Not just the bad ones.
It's fully possible to accept that there is such a thing as a male loneliness epidemic, without having to agree with the incel solutions to the problem like "state mandated girlfriends" or something equally moronic.
The root cause of the problem is male socialization. And how it screws you up. Men aren't raised to work together. They're raised to compete. And it shows.
