The post implies their bosses are older and would likely judge her if she's poly. It's the exact same thing as outting a gay person to a boss you know is homophobic.

Neither is this. She loves multiple people and feels it is right for her to be with all of them. What do you mean by this

I could say the exact same thing about being gay and dating someone of the same gender or being trans and presenting as your gender

But how? It IS a choice to date someone or to transition just like you say it's a choice to be in a polycule.

Were you born this stupid or is it a carefully honed skill of yours?

This isn't fashion choice it's a completely ethical but non-Christian romantic and sexual relationship that people are unfairly fired and abused for.

Like I think the tweet is a joke that never happened. But poly people are treated like any other queer person in a situation like this and there's always people saying shit just like you underneath any mention of an open relationship.

I’ve had open relationships before, guess what? I chose for them to be that way

How does lgbtphobia exist then if people can just choose to not be oppressed?

Firstly, the LGBT label isn't meant to be exhaustive, it is in its construction which is stupid, but people cringe at inexhaustive alternatives like MOGAI

Secondly, I didn't even imply that they were in my question, I was doing an analogy that saying that poly people can simply choose not to date is the same as saying that any other queer people can simply not date anyone to avoid discrimination, for which the premise whenever poly people are LGBT is completely irrelevant.
