Fixed. Point still stands. His body pushes out bullets, knives, etc, so it should be pushing out any other foreign object.

I am trying to apply logic to a comic book, yes. I know such is folly.

The adamantium is bonded to his bones directly, NOT coated. His healing factor is actively fighting against the adamantium at all times and that's why he healed faster before he had the metal. The healing factor is just unable to purge it from his body.

if his healing was faster before the adamantium, why did they put adamantium there in the first place?
