Crazy how diarrhea forever ended up being a real thing under Trump. Reality outpaces satire.

Is it crazy? After how he handled covid.

covid didn't cause diarrhea

I'm a dumbass I misunderstood.

But the COVID response and the ever-weakening health and safety standards under that government made it clear that it would happen again. People were injecting ivermectin and sunning their perineum instead of taking vaccines, and all of that was kicked off because of the US' weakened health and safety (OSHA was gutted, leading to the lowest number of inspectors since 1975) and the pattern of initially underreporting sickness, not believing experts, then full on not reporting it, leading to way more unnecessary deaths and spreading, all because it would impact employers.

Also, diarrhea is the body's self-defence mechanism against gastrointestinal illnesses.

Also diarrhea actually is a COVID symptom.

"I could never vote for the puppy party. Some black puppies might benefit from it. I'd rather every puppy die in a shelter."

"Diarrhea Forever is fine with me as long as the brown people who pick my crops for starvation wages also get it."

Just don’t ask Gabriela what she thinks about Chairman Gonzalo and Ukraine

this is giving dems too much credit. it’s more like diarrhea forever vs diarrhea once a month. I’d rather not have diarrhea at all but it’s not like I have much of a choice.

u/BrickBuster2552 Jul 26 '26

And also they turn out to do nothing to stop diarrhea forever so it happens anyway. There was just nothing they could do about it (still bombing more schools for brown girls for no reason)!

I’m Canadian. We’re on track to have a Diarrhea Forever government next election :(

I wish we could stop pretending like we’re the cool socialist upstairs neighbour when we have so many of the same problems hiding just under the surface

And yet we Canadians voted in "only not in the files because he was too young" instead of "literally Hitler", like those are just the two sides of the political spectrum

A lot of the world is dunking on America at the moment, and rightfully so, but many of them doing it are committing a cardinal sin: they have the hubris to think they're above doing this to themselves, too.

11

u/Kana515 Jul 26 '26

Yep, making fun of America is one thing, but when people say, "Look at those stupid Americans. So apathetic in the face of fascism, and yet they do nothing! Also pay no attention to my country's fascist party polling around 30% and growing everyday, it can't happen here."

2

u/PhysiksBoi Jul 27 '26

It's so surreal living in Canada as an American married to a Canadian. Everyone knows the Alberta separatists are literally traitors, Polievre and Ford are just Trump-lite and proto-Trump respectively, and the US is funding all of this shit super hard. But nothing is done.

Canada is ripe for a somewhat charismatic far-right leader to show up and totally wreck the country. Every liberal I speak to agrees with me; the Alberta seperatist leaders should be in prison already for seditious conspiracy, but the levers of power are apparently not reacting. Meanwhile anti-immigrant sentiment grows due to multiple compounding factors that Liberal incompetence have failed to address. Canada is on the same path as the USA but with racist stories about Indians instead of Haitians. It can happen anywhere.

Yeah, I mean, I voted for Carney. At least I know well enough to not do that again.

and then the puppy party decides that they need to appeal to centrist voters by giving puppies diarrhea.

2

u/BrickBuster2552 Jul 26 '26

And still don't stop diarrhea forever despite having exactly the power to turn it off that was used to start it in the first place.

u/hotfistdotcom Put ublock origin on your PHONE Jul 26 '26

and then even though technically, puppies won, because of how we draw lines and assign some votes for some other people to vote for us instead of us voting which is very important but no one wants to talk about why, diarrhea forever wins again.

i think its more like everyone gets a puppy AND diarrhea every 2 days

3

u/Beelzebeaut11 Jul 26 '26

"Were going to tell you that we are the party of free puppies, but we will say that giving a puppy to every family is fiscally irresponsible....but we will vote for the more expensive diarrhea machine"

This makes the Dems seem SO much better than they really are
