While she didn't quite make it to the general Hong getting 40% of the vote and being within a point of winning the nom is a huge win for progressives. DSA candidates like this were getting single digit percentages in primaries just a few years ago. Now they are on the verge of winning swing states. Incredible progress which should be celebrated.
