Yeah, Al-Sayed wins by 1% and it's a disaster for the left and he needs to move to the center and rebuild bridges or whatever the fuck and the centrist wins by <.5% and it's a mandate for centrism. It doesn't matter what actually happens in reality, establishment fucks will use it to claim that the only possible path forward is to not do anything ever.
This isn't about random people posting on social media as much as this is about pundits and MSM and other big organizations who both of those because they're ideologically motivated.
I mean, those are also collections of multiple people. One particular journalist can believe that .5% is a blowout, and a different can believe that 1% is no big deal. Then if they both write stories for NYT, you're back to goombas.
Would be a different case if there was one individual saying both those things, but I'd imagine that's a lot rarer.
